I was almost sad I didn't get Nemesis with the new head and Batman Forever paint job, but then I saw only the original had light up eyes and I don't feel so bad.

Wow I didn't even know the new one was out! They look incredible together. Any plans for some mods or crazy pics?

 

Yeah, I preordered it and like a week later it shipped, and I received it yesterday. Eventually I'll take pictures and maybe try out some modifications.

 

While both looks great, i am glad i got the green destroyer. He just have a cold ruthless air with him.

 

Do you have a current favorite of the three? I'm even more excited about how good they're gonna look once you get the new head for the OG Challenger.

So ShowZ have updated the product page for the Challenger reissue with these images:



It seems to have the new head, along with some extra detailing around the waist area, along with a more detailed paint job (though not in the same style as the Nemesis releases, and not sure if it's accurate either). Have they uploaded pictures of someone's custom or do we think that UT have actually gone and delivered on the paint?

 

It looks like a concept custom, the flames appear hand done. I love the waist fixes, if they release something like this I'll definitely be getting it

 

say, did anyone ever do a comparison shot between teh original release and the Version 2 that's at most stores now? Wondering exactly what's different.

 

They've removed those images off the product page now, so they must've realised it was a custom. Tis a shame. I was trying to rationalise that this latest re-release would have the new head and better paint to cover off interest in the Toyworld one, but alas it's still strangely unchanged from the last release, old head sculpt and all.

I think they are going for Toyworld's throat, and I love it.

 

Finally transformed my Destroyer. Love the truck mode! But classic blue and red will always be my favorite. I mostly achieved my goal of making the bot mode really messed up but keeping the truck as pristine as possible. Only hint that it’s a custom is the messed up smoke stacks.
