For your peg, I'd actually say to drill through it, and then insert a small rod (maybe a precision screw driver) to gently rock the peg back and forth. I'm assuming the paint cured and acted like a glue to lock the peg in place, so you'll need to crack the paint(without cracking the plastic) to get the peg out. Maybe a few drops of isopropyl alcohol inside the joint to weaken the paint. Avoid harsher paint thinners though, as they can damage the plastic.

Then yeah, the super-glue-and-screw method should repair the break.

Who would have guessed that two of my top figures this year would be inside-out-formers.

Sucks that shield pegs are breaking.

Looks like I'll have to use a little oil on the peg and work it a bit into the pegholes. Sounds strange, but it does work, just have to be careful not to over treat it with oil.

What I did was to slightly sand on the peg for a bit. That's all I did & now it's fine with no fear of breakage.

Him and Zeta Onslaught both this week, please please please. Only two things in my stack, it'll take a lot of self control to wait for either one.

After many days of being stuck in export and import customs, Challenger finally arrived. I carefully worked the pegs on the back and loosened them up with no breakage! Shew! Then I CAREFULLY transformed him just to be safe. And while nothing “broke”, I found this:

Sigh. And I didn’t get the preorder bonus either.

I forgot what it was because it has been such a long time now.

Yup it was purely down to common sense actually. When the first time I tried to place the shield on his back and I wouldn't go in at all. Immediately I knew something wasn't right.

So after that to confirm my suspicions, I tried it on the arm hole & it won't go in too. From there I realised the peg of the shield, was too thick & had to be sanded.
