It'll probably cost way more than this as well :D

I'll accept cost over how well it looks to be engineered

You and me both. Although it's funny to mock 30$ toys for 7yo kids the only apple to apple comparing would be with some MPM class figure for the similiar price

honestly you'd never figure that could transform into a decent truck mode

but the design of the thing is where all the latter movie characters miss the mark...you should have some sort of impression on what he turns into

It would be funny if UT included a bottle of glitter dust in the packaging.

Yeah always find those comparisons funny. Also to be fair, that voyager surprisingly handles the transformation pretty well. I mean when you look at other stuff released at that time, it’s holding up a lot better than most of the line.

Yeah no shit. One is $30 and 6 years old and one is probably $150 and is in the prototype phase with years of advancements behind it.

Wasn't a big fan of... well, anything in Age of Extinction, really. Hated Galvatron's origin, the design of his robot mode, Transformium, etc.

But... Peru Kill, Challenger, and La Hire are worth opening for the sheer experience of taking a robot that doesn't look like it should transform and transforming it. And I do like transforming trucks. So color me interested

That said, they need to lose those little missile launchers near the steps on the cab. They're not on the truck in the movie, and they look super out of place.

Super hyped for 3p mmp in general, can't wait to get this piece of art.

On a more personal tangent, I designed an mp Galvatron (started with the intention of ss but got carried away) in my head with ZERO kibble but I don't know how to draw smh. Extremely unique transformation (does some things I've never seen before, especially the way the roof hides which took me forever to figure out), might actually try to draw it out. Two things of note: he does have the hole all the way from his chest to his back with no kibble visible inside (surprisingly hard, main reason I had to abandon him being an ss), but the weapon can't hide in vehicle mode (there's almost no free space). Just came up with idea to make the gun turn into a futuristic motorcycle (reeeally wanted the end of the gun to form the tires but wouldn't color match, but the motorcyle can just have grey wheels cause fuck it why not lmao), so if I sketch it out I'll try to think of a way that can be engineered.

A lot of people, myself included, dislike articulate hands. I understand why you like them, but I personally find them to be too fiddly and unsightly.
I hope you understand how rare people like you are <3 :lol

They actually are, during the highway scene specifically.

Another amazing figure for someone I don't care about, still can't wait for the reviews to come out so I can see how this witchcraft works.

Yeah as stated they happen in the film. In fact I actually have the whole film downloaded on my iPad so here’s the moment.

They can be. But that being said, these hands just look kinda ugly and rigid. It could use some reworking.

Will keep an eye on this for sure, robot looks mint, truck not so convinced but still impressed.

Side note, anyone else notice the truck used for Galvatron in the movie seems to have been re purposed and can be seen in the sonic the hedgehog movie trailer, repainted black?

Never was a fan of this design for Galvatron, but damn if that isn\'t impressive as a transformer.
