Alien Attack did a remold/update to their el cid thats all we know so far other than their AOE Hound.
EDIT: AAT is rumored to be under fire and is either rebranding or giving the mold to another company *cough* TransCraft *cough*
Oh, ya learn something new every day.
Jesus Christ, Unique Toys' designers are wizards. I'm not a fan of the later movie designs, but I can't deny how impressive it is to make these designs work in a physical toy.
Interesting...looking at their TLK megatron he’s actually scaled properly unlike challenger, I wonder if galvy here will follow suit?
Also kudos for the adequate sculpted detail this time around.
This is sick! Okay UT! I see you!
This looks pretty damn good, but seems to be a step back from Dragoon in the articulation department. I like the deep knee bend on Dragoon, but this guy looks like his knees are just as limited as Challenger's. Also his feet and ankles look like blocks, not much articulation there at all. Hopefully I'm wrong about both of those though
Oh my God! Thank you!! Quickly please!!!
Can anyone do a digi of this?
While the bot mode is absolutely astounding, that truck mode is a bit of a fustercluck.
looks alright to me. Not tabbed properly because grey proto and all. The only problem I had were what appeared to be pipes on the side of the truck, until I realized they were those missile racks he deployed in the film.
The wheels are way too small for the truck. That's what's killing it for me.
Meh. This has no soul!
Lmao it also has no fear
Neat. I skipped out on the original Truck Cab Turtle the first time.
This doesn't even break apart into a thousand pieces to rearrange its form like he does in the movie. UT losing their touch.
Some better designers need to RISE UP!
Outdoing a Unique Toys version is probably too ambitious, you're right. That said, I'd like to see Studio Series try!
Oh yes, my favourite quote from the movie xD
Not sure if it's just me, but the face looks a bit too small for the head. Kinda reminds me of this:
Not a fan of the design, but I think the sculpt work has gotten better from the previous releases and the engineering looks interesting.
