The head is about 10 percent of the molding that’s needs to be redone. He needs everything redone. (Sculpt wise)

Peru Kill was the one who started it all, as dated as he might look compared with what we have today, I am still greatful to have him in my collection. I won’t replace him, but I will be willing to buy a better one if a new one is ever made.

    I'm on the same page.

If you go back to the Peru Kill page and look at the 1st couple of pages and see the amazement people had back then.

It blew everyone's mind that he could transform and the closer he got to release the more excited people got and the response when we first got it in hand was overwhelmingly positive.

Down the line I think Peru Kill is the same as FT's QuakeWave; the 1st figure that pushed the boundary's and set a new standard for (3rd party) MPM's, the same as QuakeWave did for G1 MP's.

Both are maybe starting or are dated now, but you can't deny the impact they had on the collector scene as a whole.

So just like QuakeWave I won't get rid of Peru Kill if something better comes along. I'd keep them as a piece of history that for their lines redefined what was possible.

Yeah I remember when people thought that he had a backpack, and then the fans freaked out when they discovered that he didn't! Nowadays it is pretty common for the bots to have clean backs. Ohh the good old days...

Nice looking back view has since then becoming a new norm since Peru Kill. Challenger is the next one where 3rd party begin to showcase heavily on the back view of the smokestack and move on to Bumblebee and OP (be it BA OP of ROTF or BB OP)

Even Hasbro caught on with the MPM line which is still quite interesting. And now both can integrate well together. This is an amazing time!

PK was for sure a game changer. Not only did it show that there was actually a ton of demand for 3P movieverse stuff, but it showed a lot of people that the actual designs weren't as implausible as a lot of fans thought. I've read so many comments on UT's stuff along the lines of "this figure made me appreciate the movie design because I now feel that it's actually possible for a truck to turn into this humanoid shape!" It's really fun to see :)

I still hope to see this level of design intricacy on the trilogy designs. I like seeing the kibble on the bots rather than just turn inside out

I don't mind buy a Peru kill v2 if they implement the gun head transform. They can do v1, they can do be.

honestly dunno about head gun design that's integrated.. the amount of mass for that would likely compromise a lot of the figure's other aspects and I for one wouldn't want that to happen.

Great points on the inside out vs hanging alt parts bots though for various folks

Yeah. I certainly don't wanna see that compromise. It's probably doable. UT can pull it off. We just don't know how yet.
    V1: where is the car?
V2: I know where the car is. where is the gun?

I will definitely like them to explore that idea. There will be compromises and trade offs, of course, but the end result will be worth it.

I understand he is Galvatron, but I have my own rule that on my shelf I do not like having multiple characters. So since my MPM Megatron represents his character...

...Im trying really REALLY hard to embed in my mind this figure to be a movie Ultra Magnus. Hey when the truck was first leaked on AOE movie, some people speculated it could have been Ultra Magnus.

    Focus... focus... focus!!!

If it helps, evil grey truck surrounded by supercars is just movie Motormaster (also highly speculated at the time).

Well, the character that MPM Megatron represents died at the end of DoTM... This guy is Galvatron, a thing made by humans as their slave (different character) until he became Megatron again in TLK.
But anyway I for one have different shelves for 2007-2011 bots and AOE/TLK figures :p

I don't see how this thing transforms. He looks so much bulkier than Dragoon, but has more detail!

I actually wanted Galvatron vs. Quintessa's "Megatronus" (ie. a Megatron based on her observations of him in Kaon) since we never saw where Galvatron went or how Megatron returned, and for this Galvatron to kill Megatronus cementing his control over the Decepticon faction and would have reformatted Nitro Zeus into Cyclonus with the nanotechnology.
