Well that isn't accurate to THIS VERSION.

Considering he had bullet wounds, a missile in him, and that KSI knew that the truck was Optimus then it's fair to say that he had encountered KSI after assuming that form since transcanning repairs at least aesthetic damage.

I really enjoyed AoE, the series got dark if you consider previous events.

The aoe/tlk designs 

 

AOE is worlds better than TLK, probably my favorite of the series.

 

Beast Machines and Animated too. You couldn't guess what Optimus or Megatron turned into in Animated. While Transformers has a certain aesthetic, it's okay to try something different as it keeps things interesting.

 

Animated is kind of a bad example but I completely agree with BM. They straight up phased into light.

 

You could see windshields and the grill on Prime, you saw wings and the cockpit on Megatron. I'm not saying different is bad, im saying this is TOO different, it doesn't mesh well with anything else. I loved the designs of the first three movies and Galvatron would look AWESOME if he didn't turn into a truck. Give him some new space jet with his chest as the engine and arm blades as wings and it'd be solid

 

Agreed, AoE is my second favorite and TLK is almost my least favorite.

 

You saw windshields and a grill, so you'd assume he'd turn into some kind of truck, but you couldn't tell what kind of truck because of the lack of kibble. Isn't the point to know exactly what the alt mode is based on the robot mode kibble? As for Megatron:



This transforms into a helicopter, but you can't tell. He may have a cockpit, but other vehicles have them.

 

But the show showed his transformation sequence, The Back block was a cockpit, The Fusion canon when under it, his sword became rotors and his feet became boosters. the only part that sort came from nowhere is the wings would come out of his back. Unlike BM where they would turn into a ball of light...

 

They have anything. You look at them and know they turn into SOMETHING. Thats my point. Their kibble may be abstract but its present, whereas it's wholly absent on Glavatron

My point is about aesthetics, visually you can't see what he transforms into. The sequence is irrelevant seeing as even AoE Optimus has one despite his design.

 

iys funny I get what your saying. I liked the first movie designs for that reason that you could see cat bits on them. So the looked like transformers. When aoe designs came out and you couldn’t even tell op turned into a vehicle at all I didn’t like it. But as toys, I really like that design. I like both ways I guess
