Just contacted them, hopefully I can get this figured out. His head doesn't look like it'll come off easy so I don't know about a replacement head. The tab is wedged into his head and I don't want to mess with that.

It's attached with 2 screws. One on the back, the other inside behind that first cover. The back of the head is attached to wires tho so be careful when moving it aside.

I don't think they'll send you a replacement head, instead they'll send you a new pair of horns. On some people's copies, the horns came in a separate bag.

I had a ziploc bag, which oddly enough had only what looks like the bar that goes over the grill in robot mode. The horn that snapped off from the tab in the head was found outside this clear plastic bag wrapped around Nero. It must of poked a hole in the bag and fell off.

Did you have to install the other horn?

Other horn was already in place when I got him. A little loose, but it seemed to be attached fine. And yeah I looked around to see if there was an extra horn but no luck.

It's not really that difficult a transformation, but the instructions are definitely missing every second step which makes the first time awkward. Suddenly the cab roof is unfolded after only being told to rotate it, his hands are rotated with no indication to even touch them, little spring-loaded tabs magically shift (against said springs) into position, with no indication at all as to when (or if) you should use the thigh sliders but they certainly change. And the angles for those shoulders... ugh. All so they can, what, fit in an extra five, superfluous frames dedicated to the worst way to deal with his forearms?

Not ToyWorld levels of bad. But I'm getting tired of this race to the bottom the manufacturers seem to be having when it comes to instructions.

Compared to Peru Kill or Challenger, though, it seems quite a bit more involved.

Definitely harder than those figures, but I’d say around the same difficulty as Dragoon.

Oh absolutely. Those figures make a remarkable amount of sense given what they accomplish - absolutely wonderful engineering. That feels like a very high mark to hold other figures against, though, even from the same designer/s.

    I didn't pick up Dragoon, so I guess I wasn't really prepared.

I just realized my Nero is missing some paint :(

I honestly have no interest. He's too big, and I wasn't a fan of the design (or the movie) to begin with.

After waiting a month to save a few dollars by purchasing form ohmhprimus he’s finally made it to the west coast; I like the hefty feel of him over dragoon, only thing is it came with a broken horn 9FE4FDF8-E5DE-4BA3-808A-4685A7DB307B.jpeg

Same, got mine from them too. Arrived Monday with a damaged box and a broken horn. Still waiting for their response. Loving the figure though.

    Monday night, Melboune, Australia time.
I have good experience with OhMyPrimus when ordering.

Aftersales, well... when I got my DS-01 Split last year, I asked for one missing part. This was in April 2020. Nothing happened, gave up as it didn't bother me much. Then finally I get a response in May this year. Worked out for me, but over a year without a reply? C'mon now.

I hope they're quicker on Galvatron as even UT is aware of the issue.
