Hmm. That does change a lot. Perhaps the parts can fold in. We’ll see when it’s more finalised.
AoE has just far more fun and embraces the stupidity of the series. Plus it has far more memorable moments with the robots who have personalities and don’t die. Optimus even has a semblance of character growth, it’s not much but there’s something there. I’d say DotM is probably the second best.

I miss Stealth Force fan modes those used to be everywhere and some were pretty cool.
For me first movie is the best, ROTF and TLK tied for worst. I would say AOE is the best of the sequels definitely.

For me it’s fun, and it does have memorable characters, but DOTM takes it hands down. I was 13 when DOTM released so right in the target age range, and it hits me right in the nostalgia bone every time I see it. Also rewatched it the other day for the first time in years and quality-wise it holds up quite well with a plot that isn’t too hard to follow. It was also the last time one of these films felt like an event IMO, like a truly epic story.

    my personal ranking is probably:
    1. DOTM
    2. ‘07/AOE
    3. TLK/ROTF (couldn’t decide which one to put last)

    Fair.

And in regards to worst I’d put TLK. RotF had at least some clarity to the story.

You and me both my friend. They just keep sucking me back in. (I would like to clarify that I am not officially back, but depending on the next few months I may be shortly)

Of all of the AOE/TLK bots... Galvatron would be at the very bottom of the list. Ugh.

Disappointed this is UT's release for next year BUT I will preorder based on their previous efforts. Challenger, Lockdown and La Hire are some of the very best pieces I own. Hoping that supporting their efforts will lead to more awesome AOE/TLK releases from them.

UT continue to rule supreme. They just keep raising the bar.
But I will admit, Not the first character I would have chosen for their next project.
I want more designs from TLK... The Knights, Nitro Zeus, Cogman

I can see myself picking this one up at some point but not immediately when he's released.
With UT, there's always plenty of time to decide.

Dinobots charge was cool as well as Bumblebee's and Hound's last stand, or Hound in general shooting that alien thing in the face, Lockdown was badass and Ratchet's death hit pretty hard. But yeah, overall pretty bad movie like every MB's TF.

I am very happy that this is the character that got chosen next. Galvatron has been in need of a new figure for a while now. Hell, the AOE voyager never even got a KO (as far as I know) and never an upscaled or improved one. Maybe Studio Series will get to him, but yeah nothing since AOE. If any Movie design deserves to be done by Unique Toys and their amazing engineering it's Galvatron. Granted, he is the epitome of the complaints of designs with no recognizable vehicle parts (does he even have any distinguishable truck parts in robot mode?) but they've proven they can work with this and I am honestly amazed by how good it looks.

Plus they have his cool elbow blades. That's something I have always loved about that design and missed on the AOE Voyager.

It's an early 3d printed prototype, the seams will close up a bit better in the final product

I think you see headlights somewhere in his pectorals maybe.

Also, can we invest some of this magic into, say, MP Prime characters? Airachnid in the hands of someone who gives a smidgen of a fuck about her would be a godsend

    Just wow!
This looks amazing, and it's made by UT...
    Instant pre-order!

Considering how he 'transformed' in the movie I'd say this figure is all the more amazing to be pulled off so cleanly.

The designer of UT's movie bots definitely rivals/surpasses the ones at Takara, with all these black magic transformations!

Impossible! How did they do it? It\'s just 3rd party magic.
