Simple yet effective. It's stable, but will topple with an extreme jolt. Made from a random clear tumbler. Kinda looks like some sort of suspensor field. pics>> Oh yeah, I modded Unicron's minicon socket too. Used a Lego radar dish and a clear light piece. Screwed the dish into the hole in the minicon socket, so it's totally removable and does not damage Unicron. Cut off the female end of the light piece and glued it to the grill. It attaches to the radar dish. Does not effect transformation at all either.
Looks quite good man. Can you give us the measurements for how deep you cut the sides? I tried doing something similar but had to eyeball it with poor results.
that would look equally good as the tractor beam used to draw planets into his gaping maw!! Do they make red ones? A red cup with a small "planet" suspended in the open end would be epic!!
hey that's a need idea.. gonna do this wih all my unicron versions LOL heck even if I could finally get my hands on the Green Lantern version I'd do it to!
1.5cm width x 5cm depth Took your idea and made a mock up of it. Cut off the bottom of the first one I made which was cut crooked and Photo-shopped it red.
It's just a plastic tumbler. I think I got em from target. There were other colors if I remember. But it's been some time now.
