Transformers Animated Accessory Pack Review​

I just got my set and thought Id throw up a review for it as I think it is a great addition to the TFA collection. I will add pics later of the parts displayed with the figures.

Sealed in Box - This is how it arrived to me. Contents: 1 Allspark Container, 1 Allspark, 1 Allspark Key, 1 Set of Show Accurate Magnets for Ratchet, 2 Energon Stasis Cuffs and 2 Decal Sheets.

Animated Allspark w/ Container - This was the piece that got me to buy this set. I love it. Detail is great and the fact that it opens to reveal the removable allspark is great. But the decals, what a time consuming process. These were the hardest part of this set. They are in separate sections and just so tiny. Even though they went with decals instead of paint apps, if you take the time and get them all on correct and straight, it looks really nice.

 

Allspark Key - Simple but a nice piece.

 

Updated Ratchet Magnet Set - Another great update, this time for Ratchet. Very nice and show accurate but however due to them using decals instead of paint, it really lowered the quality of this piece. I will be painting the tips very soon.

 

Energon Stasis Cuffs - These are fun to have as well. Somewhat simple but then again they needed to be a size that could be used with all Animated figures. Even though these too have stickers instead of paint apps, the decals look very nice when applied.

 

The decals look painful to apply. That's the only thing I hate about G1/Encores. However, the metallized finnish in this set's decals look amazing.

I was sold by the opening allspark too...

Wow Awesome. I hope to get some at TFCON or Botcon.

 

Won't be getting it, but that allspark container decal looks sweet. Nice and reflective like an abalone shell.

 

how does the allspark container work like do you have to take it apart to have the open position?

I can't wait to get it and lose the Allspark key!

 

For the Allspark, you seperate the halves, then the middle gray piece comes out and you clip it in lower on each half, really well done gimmick.

Looks pretty sweet, especially with those stickers. I miss applying stickers to my new TFs.

Holy hell, I beat peaugh to a review!! Im just kidding....

 

Ugh, I can't believe they actually advertise the stickers as a plus on teh site. That aside, I really want this set. I may paint it, I may try the stickers. Shame nowhere besides BBTS sells them, I'm going to get nailed on shipping and duty fees.

 

definetly want to get this, anyone know how many sets they made? hoping they dont sell out quick...

 

Honestly I think the stickers work great, they matched the "Energon" blue perfectly.

The only place they hinder the set is with the Ratchet Magnets but as you can see in my pics, red metallic paint and 10 mins fixes that.

 

i hate the stickers but i love the set hope they do mote stuf for animated like the hat and poncho for lockdown!!!!
