    Kinda stupid to not have that be part of the original airing? I mean, sure, most of the episode is filler, but in the end it reveals a crucial plot point?

    From what I understand, they've been airing the show out of order to coincide with toy releases in Japan, and trim an average of 3 minutes from each episode to fit in the live-action Otoboto family sketches which (essentially) flog toys.

    Weirdly, according to previews and interviews in Figure Ō issue 143 and in TV Magazine April 2010 issue, Japanese Animated was to be heavily edited so as to be a part of the live-action movies.


    So quite frankly, I don't think TakaraTomy cares about the episodes that don't have a toy to flog.
