Ellen Page just played herself so she can have a gay lover in the movie, that's why last season seeing her with a guy was kinda cringey.

Yeah, Im not a fan of Ellen Page. Nothing personal, just think shes boring. She doesnt fit the character from the comics at all. But, oh well...I still like the show. I like all the rest of the actors and characters just fine.

I had watched the first season of this and forgot what it was called.

It would be great without all of the crazy crap they throw in.

Second season was a fun romp although my wife are getting a little tired of them always having to "reset" the timeline whenever they make a new season just so they can continue with the (admittedly crazy) story. But then comic book logic. Ben getting a heartfelt send-off was nice and Sparrow Academy Ben looks to be a right bastard, giving the actor some much needed screen time and a chance to ham it up as an antagonist next season.

So finally decided to watch this since it kept popping up on the front page of Netflix.

I had heard great things about this, but didn't really get pulled in till the last couple of eps in S2.

How much of this is based on the comics?

(Child) Five is by far the best character on this show. Wow!

I'm still trying to understand why the Commission is so...weird? What's up with that fishbowl head?

I'm going to try and watch it again since there's nothing else to watch right now.

Finished S1 the other day and loved it. As others have said 5 stole the show.

    Will start on S2 soon.

I really ended up hating this show. It was just so boring. I hate all the characters.

Not just boring, but their power level is all over the place. These writers have A.D.D. and needs some Adderall.

I agree with all of that. I also have never liked Ellen Paige all that much.

Seeing this thread get bumped up almost made me think Netflix cancelled it.

Made me think maybe there was a season 3 date announcement.

I thought season 2 was great. Not as good as season 1, but way less of a drop off than many other Netflix series, like Stranger Things or something.

Yeah it wasn't until S2 that I enjoyed this show. Ben's resolution (maybe?) and 5 are what made this show enjoyable.

Ben's resolution was nice this season, and I'm glad that the character played more of an important role here than in season 1. His alternative timeline self being the leader of Sparrow Academy and seemingly an asshole to boot makes me look forward to what trouble he make for the heroes in season 3.

Finished S2 the other night. It was good! And I like where they appear to be going.

Speaking of which, saw on Twitter S3 filming starts in February.

I will say that I hope S3 isn't another "race to avoid the apocalypse" plotline. Didn't look like it but who knows.

My guess is it'll be a... figure out how to fix the timeline type of plot.

Why "he" and "they"? Is that as opposed to "he" and "him"? I don't get splitting it up that way. It's needlessly confusing. If I want to say I support his choice, is that the right pronoun? It seems like that is going to come up a lot, so he should have included it in his/their press release.

in either case, I'm not sure what this has to do with the show.

Well will he still want to play a woman now that he's a male?
