Ultimetal Optimus Prime.. a really great, really expensive statue that was supposed to come out LAST NOVEMBER!! Where is he? Has anyone heard word on him and his release? I know I and I'm sure many others paid a large sum to preorder it from all the reputable online sellers.. I got mine ordered from Robotkingdom where you have to pay up front.. but so far.. nada.. each month I check in with them and get the same "maybe next month" reply..

Anyone have any new info on this guy? The delay.. a release date.. anything? I mean it's displayed at almost every convention.. they've moved on not to start showing Megatron... but, nada on this guy..

I read somewhere that it was delayed till June 2014.
But given that this is the last day of June who knows?

when i ordered from Anime-Export, they had the release as June 2014. They now have it listed as August 2014.

LOL. Par for the course with Fewture. It's why I don't pre order anything from them until it has been seen in the wild. I own almost all their Getter Robo line. Their releases require patience.

Having patience sure. But... From last year, to march, then to august, and now end of August nothing. How do these guys do business? Haha

Basically like this. I waited nearly 2 years past the initial release date for one of them.

My guess is late winter. Once we see finished color pics it takes about a year.

Why does it take so long? Too many orders? I don't see this thing selling out at all since it's so expensive. There are also so many haters from the threads I've read. I don't understand cuz it's the most beautiful piece I've seen.

They just do. I'm all for them taking as long as needed to iron out all their typical QC issues. I don't want my primes paint to completely suck. I have to say though. Despite the looong delays and QC problems my Fewture getters are my favorite pieces I own. They are stunningly beautiful.
