Is it the faces or dialog that you have a beef with?

So basically it seems there was no actual reason to do it at all, other than 'we couldn't get hold of Branson to confirm it was ok'. :banghead:

Still doesn't explain why they didn't go this bizarre knee-jerk overcautious route last time they printed it in Classics UK, not that long ago.

I can sympathise with Legal of a UK company taking this stance with a knobber who has no qualms about suing the NHS (and it's nice to find out Lee Sullivan got a payday out of it) but "Mister Johnson", hilarious memes aside, is, well, he's literally just a shaved Branson caricature (which seems weirdly incautious in relation to the stated reason for the change) with a poorly thought out and bland generic name. Five minutes thought is all it would have taken for a more sympathetic change and/or an amusing wink to the reader about it IMO.
It also niggles me that this volume has the titular strip late in the volume when IIRC that was stated as one of the reasons they chose to bring Dinobot Hunt to the front so out of sequence, to prevent someone opening the volume and wondering why it wasn't the hunt in question right off the bat?
Speaking of out-of-sequence, whilst checking my working out on TF Wiki I realised that the UK strips in here are from the 150/160s whilst "People Power" is UK #s 176–177 so that's more jiggered than I realised too!

Maybe because Classics UK was geared towards the US market and the Hachette releases are 'closer to home'?
I have no idea who that person is.

I didn't know that about Dinobot Hunt, that just seems like dumbing down for the sake of it... or at very least a low opinion of your readers. Who would have thought it would be this difficult to just print everything in a logical order.
I suppose the international aspect could explain Classics UK. Still rankles with me though, even more than all the previous Hachette gaffs put together. In fact I would seriously be interested if someone created a fan-made 'sticker panel' to go over the offending artwork in this volume.

Btw Hachette, did you guys hear that President Josh has died...

I hope in the future there might be an archival edition.

Well, they just recently started sending out corrected copies of issue 47, so there's that to be aware of when ordering.
You'd probably be better off asking about this in the ongoing thread in the TF Comics subforum here for a full list of error issues.

*Why is the Marvel book skipping issues? Were multiple story arcs running consecutively?

US #43 was a narrative break fill-in issue, the Big Broadcast of 2006 US version. I'd guess the UK version with the Wreck Gar intro/outro in Space Pirates replaces it.

My 53 actually has a deformity.
The front cover is slightly wider than it should be.
