HO-LEE crap. I really want this. But they won't allow subscriptions outside of the UK and Ireland, bummer.

Anyone know of any ways of obtaining these? As far as Marvel US/UK goes, this looks like the Chronological collection I've hoped for!

I subscribed. I need to catch up on my comic reading and it seems like a sweet deal. Plus, no IDW :D

EDIT: looks like there are some IDW stories. A shame but not enough to put me off.

Gotta admit, the lack of IDW makes this pretty great. I'd go for this if I lived in the land of fish and chips and tea time.

There's an existing, all but ignored, news thread for this from yesterday:

UK Transformers Graphic Novel Partwork from Hatchette

EDIT: ah I see that was spotted.

Given other recent Hatchette partworks (Doctor Who, Judge Dredd) the chances are this is a trial run which will have limited availability in the UK in just a few areas and consisting of just those 5 issues shown. If it's successful it'll go nationwide, probably early in the new year when most partwork publications start.

I'm most interested in finally being able to buy trades of the The War Within 3, Sunstorm saga and the Ongoing as those have only ever been available as single issues, and not even able to read online. If this series covers those volumes.

Their website wasn't great. Huge "cookies" pop-up blocking the screen, and an insistence on giving a UK postcode to just even contact them. I understand it's just for uk residents, but communication, especially potentially customer service should be open to all.

Btw, you can just use any fake postcode, such as "TG1 4D7

The Dreamwave was not all bad. Some of it was better than the garbage we get with IDW.

War Within was probably the best thing DW ever did. And a neat series/idea for sure.

I sub'd as it will allow me to get the Marvel and Dreamwave comics for considerably cheaper than previous books on Amazon.
I just hope they're in the proper order. (Marvel then Dreamwave then IDW. NO INTERMINGLING!!)

Wait, referring to James Roberts as a "comic legend" is a joke, right? Please tell me that's a joke.
