Seeing how we got the first film a month after the rest of the world I think this is a nice way to balance it out :)

Well that sucks for us in the US...I just hope I can get my hands on some advance tickets like I did for the first one so I could see it a few days early.

Well, not to sound like a dick or anything, but it only makes sense for it to premiere or be released at it's earliest where the movie is produced, edited, scripted, acted, etc, etc.
It it were based and produced in the UK, then I'd understand better.
From what we've read, there is (once again) US military involvement in this sequel, so why not thank the country that makes this film possible by showing it in the US first again?

As far as I'm concerned this goes some way to making up for all the other times British TF fans get stiffed.

We get next to no decent exclusives, many items never see an official retail release with no explanation given and even the ones that do cost twice as much as those in the US providing you can find them in the limited choice of stores that sell them.

But the occasional thing gets released somewhere other than the good old USA and they erupt like they're the hardest done by nation on Earth.

Tough shit America, for once we get to do the spoiling.
