    Good evening transformer fans,

When I grew up I had limited access to the 80s cartoon means my brother had Arrival from cybertron, Desertion of the dinobots and Transformers the movie. (Which I watched over and over again) If I was lucky I would catch the odd different episode on Timmy Mallet.
So I mainly read the UK marvel comics which my brother collected from issue 25-198 then I started collecting from 250-332.

So basically for me Broadside was a wrecker that looked like the pics below, later on i started collecting transformers more seriously trying to complete my G1 collection and when I got Broadside i was a bit gutted with the toy after all his kick ass appearances in my childhood comics. Hence the want for this project, he doesn't transform I gave up on that option to increase articulation and I don't have the engineering skills to pull something like a triple changer off. The reason for the mold base was I original got him for a modern style Hoist but when I managed to get an MMC Hoist for a good price I made use of it on this instead. I took as many pictures of him in the comics which with all the different artists made them fairly varied in appearance so I then drew out a design i was set in stone over with a front, side, back and 3d view which definitely helped to work from instead of flicking through pics on the phone which I normally do. This was the 1st time I used a hot glue gun too which I found really useful for filling and sticking when other glues would not. 20190416_200839.jpg 20190416_200751.jpg 20190424_211919.jpg broadside-transformers-46bd4082-cb75-44f3-b914-7a24940a2e9-resize-750.jpeg Screenshot_2019-03-25-20-34-38.png 320px-Wreckers_magnus_meltdown.jpg 20190416_201510.jpg 20190830_231442.jpg 20190225_213217.jpg 20190830_001627.jpg 20190830_001636.jpg 20190830_231407.jpg 20190831_011851.jpg 20190927_185238.jpg 20190927_185332.jpg 20191002_230024.jpg 20191004_230720.jpg 20191009_214918.jpg 20191011_001112.jpg 20191011_001130.jpg 20191011_001405.jpg 20191011_001145.jpg 20191011_235754.jpg 20191011_235811.jpg 20191011_235911.jpg 20191012_000242.jpg

As you see here this is where the confusion started with the artists and the character I think I read somewhere this was what the original toy was meant to be like hence his impression which was even affected in one of cartoons he was drawn similar. CKiIz43VAAA2Ie5.jpg

I was tempted to say you wrecked and ruled, but you've really just ruled!!

    Excellent work.

In Titans Return, a few characters such as Repugnus and the upcoming Apeface have gotten more than one Titanmaster, and I really hoped Broadside would get one closer to the comic look.

Dang. I was expecting "I made a hat for the Titans Return version" but this is next level.

Kind words thank you. The head was the most challenging bit, at one point I didn't have clue how I was gonna make it look right so I kept referring back to every comic appearance at every angle and just took it bit by bit. The face is actually mp ironhides shouty face I had spare
