Damn I never knew I had so much in common with 15-17 year olds.

Ah but it's all funny stuff because only somewhere like this can you find people who seemed to be shocked that there are people out there that just don't like Micheal Bay movies. Or first is was screw you old fans who can't roll with the change, now it damn the teenagers for daring to have a little taste in films. Ha ha so who do guys want to go after next for daring to disagree about Micheal Bay films being good?

I'm 16 going on 17, and I'm around 75% excited for the big damn movie. The other 25% of me is mourning the loss of Animated  

 

I don't see why we have to hate on people for not being into it just because of their age. I'm not particularly excited about the movie myself. Want to take a stab at me for it? Anyone think I'm "dumb" or "******ed?"

I don't see why age is so important here. The whole "children's opinions don't matter, they should be seen not heard" shit is ridiculous. 15-17 year olds ARE in the demographic of this *mainstream summer blockbuster* that's meant to appeal to everyone, after all. Now, I understand the notion that teenagers are likely to hate on things for the hell of it, we all did it, but you know what, many people that are much older still do the same thing. Most of you are doing it now with your dismissive attitude towards anyone younger than you!

And hey, am I the only one that remembers all the hate that used to go around from inside the TF fanbase itself concerning these films? Please consider - many of the 20-30 year old fans were spitting all kinds of hatred about the first film before it came out. Hell, after it came out as well. I know it's cool to bow down to Michael Bay now, but come on guys. Besides, I'm sure every one of you that's bitching about what these kids are saying have thought or said similar or WORSE things about many other movies yourself.

 

Ah you guys have been going after me since the first movie so I'm an old target by now. We need some new people to go after.

 

If 15-17 year olds aren't going then even better. They are usually talking, acting stupid, and trying to ruin it for the rest of us.

Oh I know I know, the people who vote on the Academy Awards. No wait we've already got it out for those guys over the special effects award.

I know Amish people, they don't watch enough movies.

Old people, they don't like modern Hollywood very much.

The toy makers that can't seem to get the colors right.

I'm sure we can find plenty of new people to go after, we are a fandom and that's what fandom does.

 

Ugh, "Small Group of Kids" is the main phrase here. Just because they didn't like it, doesn't mean that others won't.

But, if worse comes to worse and the movie sucks, at least were getting a good bunch of toys.

 

Each trailer so far has kicked ass, so anything anyone says, especially chumps, is not going to affect me in any way.

 

I'm personally aiming for the guy that avoids questions at Hasbro QAs.

hey hey hey, i'm 17 and i know i am well behaved in theaters, and infact i will be speechless during this movie, cause my mouth will hit the ground from the awesomeness that is this movie

 

Myself and the almost 100 million other people who saw the first movie in theaters could give a rats ass what a 'small group' of people think. Regardless of their age. Bring on ROTF.
