Hi All! Fabian here, aka Unicron Nemesis, aka U.NEM (my handle for my photography).

Aside from collecting Transformers (and also a handful of other toy lines), I also take photos of my collection. The shoots allow me to interact with my collection and I am working towards archiving every figure in my collection, Transformers and otherwise. It's a long process but I hope those who drop by can enjoy the photos as much as I do!

I do lots of comparison photos of G1 figures and their contemporary counterparts (official and 3rd party). So if that's your thing, this is definitely the place to drop by.

Alright starting things off:
Here's an old photo of my G1 display taken in 2014. This should give you a sense of what's in store as far as G1 photos (and the earlier mentioned comparison photos) go.

Strongly believe that presentation is as vital to a collection as the content.

Here's the story behind this

This photo was conceptualised to include the main areas of my Transformers collection, namely:
1) G1 vintages figures,
2) Official contemporary figures,
3) 3rd Party figures,
4) and also a statue of Unicron (my namesake)  

 

One of my favourite subgroup, the Targetmasters! So a cool yet simple gimmick

 

This is going to be one fun follow. Great photos as always.

Loving all of your work. Will be watching this thread closely. I am surprised you got LG Octane, but not LG Blitzwing. Is that the Fancy Cell Transportation Captain? I was close to getting him, then TR Astrotrain was announced.

I didn't quite like the shade of purple on LG Blitzwing hence I went with the TR version.

 

Completely understandable. I went with Hasbro myself, but ended up painting his face silver.... couldn't stand that purple that just drowns out the detail.

 

Well, since I was doing the Decepticon Triplechangers photos, I'd decided to unbox my Fans Toys Apache (Masterpiece scaled Springer).







While it looks good in bot mode, transformation was really not that enjoyable. That leg transformation....argh...





I'd expect with so many moving parts in the legs section, the armoured car should have looked better. It's simply too long.



But since I display the figures in bot mode, I guess this is still the best looking Springer in the market right now.

 

Something else that I do occasionally: To take photos for some 3rd Party companies   Here's the latest sample to arrive so I thought I'll just bump him into the queue here.
