i cant wait to see this movie on 12/12/2008 all for the vampires bella loves edward based on the book by stephenie meyer the book was good
I admit that I've read the first three books and didn't mind them. From what I've seen from trailers and TV spots, the flick looks dead-on. I'm just hoping it doesn't end up being too MTV-ish in the end.
Since they've hired a screenwriter, I can assume it's going to be better than the poop on paper that the first book was. I made it about 3 chapters in, and finally stopped torturing my eyes.
Yeah, no offense pmoverlord-1972, but I got bored of Vampire/Mortal love after ANGEL/BTVS. I doesn't do anything more for me and this series honestly, is just poorly written. I hear they've bumped the Relase date up from December 12th, to November 21st or something. Cashing in on the absence of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, obviously. Agreed. At least you could shut the book. I had to listen to my sister have a fangirlasm over the Audio Discs for the book. My brains...I felt so stupid after enduring an hour or more of that stuff.
I wish I could convince my brain that this thread is not about Twilight Zone and quit clicking on it for that reason, I always end up disapointed.
How can anyone be excited for this movie, or even think the book was good? IT'S THE ULTIMATE MARY SUE FANFICTION.
Yeah, I love Vampire movies, but this one seems really bad. Vampire guy- "Say it out loud, say it.." moral girl- "vampire" Is the dialogue meant to sound chessy and forced.
It looks interesting to me, and I've only heard good things about the book, which I just bought a copy of tonight. From what I've heard it's something I'll more than likely like. That and the movie coming out will give me something to do when I originally planned to go see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Why do all vampires now all look like they're 15 and emo. Bring back Blade or even Christopher Lee, they were REAL vampires.
I wish someone could do the Anne Rice books justice. Interview was ok, but queen of the damned sucked.
Sorry, but to me, the trailer looks horribly cheesy. I don't see why anyone male or over the age of 14 would want to see it. Maybe I'll get together with a few other theatre employees, and we'll mock the hell out of the thing before the midnight show.
