This is some proof and guidance on lightbox images with an iPad. You don't actually need a fancy camera. Natural light by a window is often better than a lamp. I'm using the giant Target box my Rainmakers were in. I had to cut a hole in the center of the top which cut away about half of the cardboard on top. I also used the Apple Barrel paint that you can find in Walmart (and for great prices ) to paint the exterior of the box to make it look less like an eyesore and more like a lightbox. What I find better than using a lamp is to move your lightbox by a window in the sunniest time of day, like my Rainmaker pic was. There is better contrast without the lamp or mechanic light source and it is not yellowish. Figure A: Lamp Figure B: Lamp But Not In Central Light (Better) But problem with that is, the shadow is overwhelming to the image. Figure C: Natural Light, Prime Focus Figure D: Natural Light With Adjustments Oh, and, I didn't know where to put this, so I believe it goes under Customs.
