AIRACHNID WINS!!! She had a stunning 54 nominations.

    Vote for second worst.

And I wasn't the only one who nominated Shockwave, so he made the list after all.

Staff edit: poll added per OP's request. Happy voting. This is for the second worst figure of the year. Airachnid took the 1st place award.

Airachnid is the only true answer. Anything else is incorrect, as Airachnid will have outdone them.

Haha, I think you're right. Still, doesn't hurt to make it semi-official.

Airachnid, by far. Just plain unposeable by itself, and she really does not like to stand up, on top of all the other issues the mold suffers from. FoC Shockwave and AM Smokes are actually pretty decent, if a bit on the small side.

AM Unicron is up there, especially since he cost so much for a steaming pile of crap.

Airrachnid is going to get a lynching, but as I've never even handled one I think it would be unfair to vote for it. Of the ones I did buy...

FOC Shockwave - Not the worst figure ever, but woefully dull and uninspired.

Prime Voyager Ultra Magnus - Could have been a wonderful figure (and I certainly thought it would be!) but let down by cheap, thin feeling plastic, restricted shoulder movement and a boring alt mode.

Prime Voyager Megatron - Initially I was blinded by the "OMG UK GOT PRID FIRST" syndrome and didn't view megs with the objectivity I probably should have. Displays ok, but to handle it lacks heft, has problematic shoulders and the chest tabs together poorly.

    PRiD Airachnid- no explanation needed.
AM Unicron- shiny chrome doesn't cover the crappiness.
PRiD Starscream- personal choice here. I just can't like the figure. At all.

    PRiD Airachnid- No explanation needed
FOC Onslaught- Has those strange derpy shoulders and too small for a combined torso
AM Unicron- For the price you're paying, it's pretty disappointing

Think I'll nominate FoC Onslaught AND the combined FoC Bruticus (if I can); two potentially great releases, let down by a slightly dodgy design - as well as being way too gangly n malformed (in Bruticus' case).

Shockwave? Really? I thought he was a great figure...

While he's not perfect, I like Onslaught too...

Airachnid I'll give you guys... She stands in the back row of my Prime Decepticon army...

    Knockout
Onslaught - decent torso mode but the other two modes suffer for it
    swindle

airachnid actually isn't all that bad, especially since I got her at 40% off.

I'm surprised to see shockwave being nominated as well... I personally love him, but I can understand why he may not be a favorite. One of the worst of the year? Surprising!

Also, given that airachnid is the likely victor/loser here, we should have an official runner up!

Airachnid. I was so excited to find that figure. Prime was at it's high point, and it made finding the figure very difficult.

I remember sitting down and opening that figure in horror and disgust as I realized what a steaming pile of crap Hasbro delivered us.

    Onslaught, Shockwave, and Smokescreen, huh?

Challenge. Describe one single way Airachnid is better than any of those.

    Airachnid obviously wins.

I have to say a (dis)honorable mention goes to FoC Brawl. Onslaught's got a much worse vehicle mode, but Brawl gets a serious mention for his massive, massive flaws being completely hidden until he's in hand. He's tiny, his shoulders just... don't work (WHY ARE THEY ANGLED), his buttflap kibble is worse in hand, his tiny feet flaps rarely work, even if they did his footprint is way too small.

Onslaught, at least, is obviously flawed. Brawl hides his terribleness.

I can't. Airachnid is terrible and I completely forgot about her - she's so bad I eliminated her from my memory.
But the poll isn't about my choices, it's about everyone's choices. Airachnid looks to be winning so far.

    But as people have asked:

Yep, Shockwave. I really didn't like the figure: it's size, plastic tolerances and alt. mode really killed a figure I was looking forward to. That might be why it's on my list, as I was really looking forward to a new Shockwave and disappointment often sticks in the mind more than the apathy of a shit figure.
Smokescreen was a terrible re-use of a terrible mold, for a major on-screen character. Knockout was already a disappointment, but re-using it for SS felt like a mistake, especially as you can't even mod the figure for screen accurate doors panels as it would destroy the arms.
Onslaught was just awful, but it was the square combiner ports on the wheels that killed it for me, no excuse for what was in my opinion a shitty, shitty design.

Doesn't mean I'm right though, that's why there will be a poll.

    Her Alt-mode is better.

Her color scheme is pretty nice.

Um... the review of her at OAFE.net is hilariously terrible and an obvious example of them trying so hard to not follow the crowd that they're just wrong.

Brawl and Onslaught I feel are great in Bruticus mode, so I find it hard to consider them the worst. Onslaught makes a great torso and Brawl works probably the best of the lot when it comes to being either arms or legs (most accel at one more then the other).
Both also have the disadvantage of being WFC characters having to adapt to combining, while Swindle, Blast Off and Vortex were created for FOC, so already had combining in mind, unlike Brawl and Onslaught. In the end I think it could've ended up much, much worst for those two.
