Then when I got home 2 more had ripped through !!!!!! HOORAH ! ...I'm a daddy ! They can take 24 hours to leave the egg so I should have a BIG update on Sunday when I have time... --------------------------- BIG UPDATE ! ! ! June 2 Look who's here !... Yaaaaah ! My first born is a red albino (Amel.) just like his father, what a little CUTIE ! ! ! ...and then there were 2 ! ... #2 is just like mommy ! (Anery A) So here are 1 - 6 #1 Amel. #2 - #5 Anery A. #6 is a normal non-hybrid(hybrid traits passed on if bred) Now...were not outta the woods yet, they need to shed their skin in 1 - 2 weeks after that they will accept food...or they should anyway, that will be the toughest part, some won't eat...cross your fingers will ya -
I find it incredibly ironic that you are celebrating a snake's egg-laying on a day made famous for snakes being driven out of Ireland.
... This was also somewhat unexpected as we were expecting egg laying in early June but I just noticed last week it was gonna be a lot sooner. It was planned to have her lay in June...she(and he) had plans of their own.
Be careful. He may say he's the father now, but come when they're born he'll be all "I'm not the father! Look at the nose, completely different!". Next thing you know, you're on Maury doing the paternity test.
Congrats man. And for some strange reason, the pic of the two of them strikes me as inexplicably cute.
