Was TFCC Scourge ever released in the Club Store?

 

Yeah he was. He lasted a couple of days iirc, but he's gone now.

Yep, only difference was he was limited to 5 per member where Slipstream is double that.

 

I actually like him quite a lot, and given that I have become oddly attached to this mold, and that I like what they've done with Treadshot, their plans for Chromedome, as well as Barricade, I think I might sign up this year. Well done TFCC, gettin a new subscriber. Though I still need to see who the other 2 are, as well as actually see Chromey.

As commented in the original thread, that paint is mega-clean! What did you use?

 

if THAT was the subscription figure it would sway my wallet from "cool and all, but I'll pass this year" to "shut up and take my money"  

 

dang, yeah, I normally try to avoid the cliche wallet jokes, but if the subscription figures looked that good mine'd explode.

He look much better than the original mock-ups, I wanted maybe a little more orange, but it's not too big of a deal.

 

I believe Impactor is the only one of the FoC Wreckers with the Wreckers symbol. I guess to show it off in combined mode judging by where they tampoed it.  

 

At this rate everybody will soon have a collection comprised of FOC bruticus repaints and MP sideswipe variants

 

So much agreed. They are toys put them where ever you want.

Not really liking the second photoshop, removing the elite guard and changing the feet is squarely putting it in IDW territory, but then the tan is still tan which is the one bit that didnt work in the first place.

And I liked the teal feet, they are a good break in the colour scheme. A solid nod to the toy that doesnt clash with the comic colours.

 

I dont mind either of the mock up so far but I'd prefer something more like this (Sorry for photoshop, not the cleanest ever)
Slightly towards the toy still tan but very washed out.


or more towards the comic, dirty white/grey


Either way the one thing I realised while doing it, the gold upper arms make so much difference. It doesnt look as though theres an excessive amount of paint apps on it to start with, but if more can't be added and they had to remove the blue from around the autobot symbol and a few other patches it would be worth it for a better toy and IDW match.

The yellow bits on the waist help to in my opinion, but arent as needed.

I still prefer the teal feet but if it was a choice between painting the feet or the shoulders, shoulders would take priority.
