Tryace is Gigapower?! That's awesome! If you don't mind me asking how do you know that? Do you know if they will make a Megatron to go along with their Prime?

Looks cool but like someone else mentioned, why?

A non transforming Optimus in a style that isn't really mainstream... I kinda feel like the target market for this figure is so slim, I'm not sure how well it's going to do.

I love my gigapower dinobots and wish them well on this one.

Man! Show Z is full of sh@t! I paid for this figure on the 7th, which is supposed to be in stock right now, I asked why was my figure not shipped as of today and they told me it will ship next week! That’s almost a month after I paid for an instock item (I asked, they said it was in stock).
How the hell do they take nearly a month to ship something???

You lucked out, like many of us, CNY (in the negative sense, as that phrase can be used good or bad). It is what it is. Can you imagine the backlog when they got back, especially if they had goofballs like me with a giant order queue?

I'm surprised that the general reception of this figure on here has been pretty lukewarm, to say the least. Personally I don't really care if it transforms either way and I absolutely adore both the design and the striking paint, so I am most definitely interested in picking this up. My only fear is I'm not completely sure if they'll be able to get around to doing a Megatron figure, especially if the reception for this figure is as poor as I've seen it to be. Also, any idea if other retailers are going to be stocking this thing besides Show Z? From what I've seen and experienced, retailers like TFSafari are a bit more snappy when it comes to getting these things out (or they where when it came to the one figure I bought from them at least). As long as people are eventually getting their stuff from Show Z I suppose it doesn't matter either way, and I really can't be fussed about QC taking a nosedive when it comes to small things like the LED function, but I'd just prefer if my $150 spent into this thing allowed me to get it sooner rather than later and in good shape.

I've been checking out videos of this the past couple of days, I think this will be my splurge purchase with my tax refund. I usually don't go for non-transforming figures, but this has a metalbuild quality to it that I like.

I definitely agree, the paint applications on this piece are absolutely eye catching. I follow PrimeVsPrime on Instagram, and every time he made a post about this thing on there, I had to do a double take. Not sure about everyone else, but I would LOVE a Megatron figure to go along with it, just so I could make those two my defacto grand pieces to represent Prime and Megs. Where do you think you'll order this thing from?

ShowZ is by far the cheapest I've seen. I ordered from there. Shipped 3 days ago. Can't wait to get it in hand. Definitely hope they do the XM Studios Megs to go with this!!

@unmc2001 nice pics, but what is going on here? Is that plastic or metal shavings/abrasion?

I noticed that in the pic when I posted it. I didn't notice when I had him out. I boxed him up to take home. I will have to check and see what that is.

joints on mine are nice. If you extend the leg out forward the knee joint seems to want to fall just a bit because legs are heavy. But overall the joints move fluidly. I did not try the light up feature yet. Fun figure to pose. Paint is gorgeous. I only had a few minutes to mess around with him.
