I'd like to see the story of US naval aviator Jeremiah Denton, and his expierences as a prisoner of war during 'nam. There was an old TV movie made back in 1979, but I'd really like to see the story on the silver screen, not the TV screen. It could make for a really captivating film, if put into the right hands.

The Battle of Beersheba, which culminated in the Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade enacting the last mounted cavalry horseback charge in modernised warfare.

I would like to see a movie based on Mad Jack Churchill. The tag line for the movie would be Jack's famous quote.

"Any officer who goes into action without his sword is improperly dressed."

A link for those who don't know who Jack is Jack Churchill - Wikipedia

If you don't want to read the link to keep it short Jack was a British Army officer who fought in the Second World War with a longbow, bagpipes, and a Scottish broadsword. also rode a motorcycle and did some surfing

Christopher Reeve - he played Superman, then became a quadraplegic, but was still able to make a difference.

George Lucas - how he made Star Wars.

Robert Downey Jr - his drug addiction and stardom fall/comeback.

Leonard Nimoy - he sounds like he had an interesting life.

Marlon Brando - one of cinema's most talented and enigmatic actors.

Will get back with more names later.

The McDonald's Monopoly scam and subsequent EPIC sting that the FBI and McD's put together by joining forces. Recently watched a 6 part documentary on it, and it is one of the single most epic crimes ever executed in the United States. Just insane.

Boudicca the Warrior Queen. It basically writes itself. A warrior queen taking up arms and leading an uprising against occupying Roman forces. That would be an awesome historical epic like Gladiator.

Alexander the Great is my favorite ancient historical, so I’d like to see him done justice. The Colin Farrell movie really sucked.

The Emu War in Australia would be a hilarious historical movie. Especially if you got someone with sensibilities like the Coen Brothers to direct it.

A Wright Brothers miniseries would be interesting. If you read up on how they invented the airplane, they actually found out most of the sources they had about flight physics were wrong so they literally had to rewrite the science books and history to accomplish what they did.

This is a bit selfish since I am a Steelers fan, but it would be awesome to see a Chuck Noll biopic. When he took over the Steelers, they were a bottom feeder in the NFL. Within 10 years, he has them winning 4 Super Bowls.

The making of 1954 Godzilla movie would been perfect of how the Japanese Chimera's favorite Kaiju was creating with his creators' life stories been told before and after the world been change forever.

I would say Jim Henson but given how excellent Defunctland's documentary of his life and career was I believe I can hold out for an actual biopic.

Jack Kirby's life, only if it was allowed to openly use characters from Marvel and DC. If they can't and have to skip parts of his career and life, then forget about it.

SF Debris did a whole video series on the making of the original trilogy as well as the prequels. Worth the watch, I'd say. Really interesting stuff regarding George's personal life.

I'm going to try to do this without breaking rule 3.

One of the most creative and bizarre movies I have ever watched was Sergei Parajanov's The Color of Pomegranates. It tells the story of Armenian poet and ashugh Sayat Nova. It's very vivid, but it features no regular vocals other than some reading in Krapar (ancient Armenian) at the beginning as well as some background vocals of people singing and what not. Furthermore, it often doesn't make any sense from shot-to-shot. I have been to both his place of death as well as the filming locations.

As much as I enjoy and respect Parajanov's vision, I would love a film that doesn't try to be The Color of Pomegranates, but instead tells the story of Sayat Nova in a more traditional way.

Yeah, I’ll second a movie about Mad Jack Churchill.

Definitely on board with a mini series about the Wright Brothers.

That one Canadian lawyer who would always brag about his indestructible window in his office by repeatedly charging and slamming into it, who met his end after slamming into it again and again one day caused the window to come off the frame and he fell 24 stories to his death, while the window landed intact. That's the ultimate cautionary tale about tempting fate, with some hilarious precipitous idiocy on top.

The doctors fighting COVID-19. Enough of glorifying twisted murderers and their sick actions. I'd rather see real life heroes get the respect they deserve for their sacrifice. One way? We need to raise awareness so people don't repeat the same stupid shit they did that led to this pandemic blowing up like not social distancing and bribing law enforcement to dodge the lockdown.

Sorry if it got too political.

A movie about the comic book industry. Not sure what era would be the main focus, as there are many. Maybe about Stan Lee or Jack Kirby, Jerry Siegel/Joe Shuster. The period that I am most knowledgable of was around the inception of Image Comics. I'm no expert on the subject matter, in regards to the copyright/trademark laws that would cause issues.

According to IMDb (grain of salt), Hugh Jackman is working on two biopics:
    - a biopic about car manufacturer Enzo Ferrari
    - a biopic about the Apostle Paul

He will be starring in both, as the title characters.
