There seems to be a healthy interest in TFC's not-Dinobot combiner. In the past, people came out of the woodwork saying how terrible it would be to even think of it. Yet people are asking for the TFC combiner to be put in traditional Dinobot colors.

For my money, TFC's current not-Dinobot combiner just doesn't do it for me. It looks pretty ugly, oddly proportioned, and most of the individual bots only hint at being the characters people are trying to shoehorn them into.

So, let's take a leap, and say that a true 3rd party Dinobot combiner would be pretty boss to deal with, with individual bots that are true molded homages to the G1 dinos. Heck, even throw Scorn, and Paddles in, or whoever the Dinobot medic was.

Toyworld is doing a Throttlebot combiner for goodness sake. Nobody is saying nay to that, or weaping that it is not story canon.

We have many Dinobot options. Why not a true combiner option?

id think about it. thats all i can commit to right now. i am very excited about our upcoming dinobot MPs. a combiner would be something cool, but superfluous to my collection.

i would def want it in g1 dinobot colors though.

I'm fine with the TFC dinos as is. In fact, I plan on putting Con badges on them and making them Dinocons.

Them being Dinobots was never a necessity for me. I just wanted a cool combiner made up of dinos and it fit the bill.

im down for a dino gestalt..as long as they can stand as stand alone characters as well as combine. that way it would appease the fans whom wouldnt care for such a feature but yet give us a fresh new take on the dinos...

i really dug FR's extinctio...something like that, but with updated ALt and Bot modes would be BOSS!!

    Exactly.

Also, $75 shipped for a quality combiner = no brainier.

G1 colors be damned... But would pick one up for the same price aswell.

Not for me, I want the Dinos to be none-combiners, such as being done right now by FT, GP, and Planet X, and this way, there is no compromise on the design to accommodate a 3rd mode that never existed. I would rather someone like MMC does Abominus.

Combining The Dinobots takes away from them overall. Think about it. A typical combiner team does so to get stronger, as in the individual bots are about average at best.

The Dinobots just don't "need" to combine as they are each a force to be reckoned with. Combining shoe horns them into a single destructive force when their strength lies in the fact that they are many and they are each, for the most part, as strong as a typical combiner.

Dinobots do not need to combine. They're badass enough standing side by side.

not interested in a combiner personally. its one of the things that makes the dinobots unique. plus theres plenty of other combiners to do.

I don't want a G1 Dinobot combiner. Give me Mad Geister instead.

Two groups that are tough enough that they don't need to combine.... Dinobots and Wreckers!

I did buy the Dino Combiner to represent Dinoking though like some of you guys.

Not interested in combining Dinobots, now if TFC or MMC were to make a combining DinoFORCE i'd be in for that. everyone is doing G1 USA combiners, why no love for Raiden, Dinoking, Liokaiser, Landcross, or Road Ceasar?

What about the predacons, they were all meant to be heavy hitters in their own right just like the dinobots, that just meant preadking was set up as the most bad ass of combiners (not that he was ever shown as anything but a punching bag in the show but that is a different issue).

On to the the combiner though, yes I would buy the shit out of a dinobots combiner, if it were done well and to a size that matches the current crop of predakings. TFC current offering is nice but to small and their grimlock at least looks rubbish. My personal preference would be for swoop to be much like divebomb and form an arm and his wings become the combiners wing, wouldn't mind sludge as the other arm, thinking about his dino mode head and neck would make a good arm cannon for the combine mode as well.

Yep, this. I plan on giving them black green and purple deco's, using T-Rex head as the combined mode head, fudging something for the chest, and calling the combined mode Trypticon.

I hear you, but, the predacons where based off of currently existing animals. Bull, rhino, tiger, lion, condor?

None of that evokes "OMG we gonna die" on a level even remotely close to what the Dinobots bring the the table. Granted, 3 out of them where technically herbivores, but so what. They where big and strong and everyone, friend and foe was scared ******** of them.

Think about your childhood memories, if you were around for g1. NOTHING about the individual predacons made as lasting an impression compared to the individual Dinobots.

I'm buying the Throttlebots because they're awesome figures in their own right. I have no interest in the fact that they combine. I feel the same way about any Dinos. Even if such a set were to come out, I'd buy it if they were decent Dinobots.

I wouldn't even think about it. I've never seen a Dino combiner aside from this site, so zero attachment here. High price = negative attachment.
