Got my Hasbro Groove today (from RK).

Differences as far as I can tell are as follows:

Hasbro uses silver screws, Takara black.

Hasbro version has copyright and CE tampos on back of leg.

Slight remoulding to guns. Takara has detended handles, Hasbro's are more cylindrical.

Not clear from photos: Takara's windshield is a slightly more greenish-blue (almost imperceptible)

Not clear from photos: the two red light (indicators?) either side of the windshield are pinker on the Hasbro version.

The Takara knee is just a simple pin joint. On the Hasbro version, that pin has a flat head on it.

Maybe it didn't actually sell out, and they're just getting the link ready...

I hope the various sites that plan to carry this are going to "stagger" the release, aka list it for sale on different days. That way if one site suddenly gets it in stock and sells out within a couple hours, then another site gets it a day or two later then different people will get their shot at it. The only thing I'm slightly concerned about is it being listed EVERYWHERE and selling out in a time-frame where I wouldn't have access to the internet for a few hours.

If it's anything like Break-Neck/Quickslinger and drop on the same day you'll be fine as long as you can get online at least once during the day.

I actually hate the idea of staggered releases mixed w/ staggered pre-orders because how am I supposed to know what's a fair price the first time I see it.

Also, if stores stagger release....you're chasing the news and hoping you're both available when it goes up *and* able to find it before they sell out.

I hope I could get Groove easier compared to how I got Wildrider/Brake-Neck

Was listed as "sold out" yesterday.

Either that was a precaution to prevent people from ordering before they were supposed to, or that was the stock obtained via the Asian supplier route, and this new preorder is for the stock from the supplier(s) for the stock intended for the North American market.

EDIT: This was the old listing, which is different from your link:

Just checked his Facebook. Yesterday is what he got and sold out and today is new stock that he's expecting this month.

So is this prove of staggered releases ???

Looks like Hasbro version also has a painted silver crest on the forehead.

Where can I find this figure? Will it not be available through the regular US retailers?

Seems like all minor differences to me. Dare I say it's rather boring >XD
    Still thanks for sharing.
It will be. They said it'll be out for May Mayhem much like Quickslinger and Breakneck were.

    ... Alright, I'll say it. That's cute.

I'm happy with how minimal the differences are. Can't wait. Sorry, Rook. Maybe you can make your own combiner with tiny!Groove and all the other limbs who's gestalts I never bothered to finish collecting.

I lucked out with 2015 May Mayhem, picked up one Slingshot from BBTS right at midnight and another the next morning. Hoping for the same good luck this year.
