Yes.... Hopefully TRU will put it on their website. Did the new packaging Grimlock ever show up there?

 

Not yet. I hope Sunstorm makes it to the site, though. I want him, but he's rather "low priority," so I'm really not interested in putting in the work it often takes to get a TRU MP.

Even if they did, they exclude "hot buys" which many new transformers and 80% of Legos are... The days of deals seem to be over.

 

That's not true. I used a 20% coupon I got in the mail to buy MP-03 Grimlock. Not sure if it's a store by store basis on whether they accept them or not, but I had no trouble using it.

 

Hopefully they go back to having their MP listings on the TRU web site again with a limit per transaction  

 

wow, another week of craziness so soon? hopefully this will be on shelves a little longer than Grimlock. MP hunting at TRU is so ridiculous nowadays.

 

I'm sure it'll just be a re-pack of the Takara version, maybe with a few tweaks, but here's to hoping it's a more E-Hobby-inspired creamsicle orange.

 

So, given the uproar regarding individuals scalping, what is the opinion on online reailers essentially doing the same thing? TRU will likely sell Sunstorm for $70 - $80, so this would be at least a $40 mark up...

 

Scramble to get it before TRU raises prices. Fun times.

 

I wouldnt worry about this one going crazy like Grimlock Acidstorm is still self warming.

 

Based on some of the pics users have posted of Grimlock on shelves, he didn't appear to have the "Hot Price" tag next to the shelf tag. Not as though that is conclusive data, but most (all?) of the AOE toys consistently have the "Hot Price" tag.

I don't see much logic behind what toys get that label and which don't, so maybe it is just random TRU decision making. Seems to be plenty of that to go around.

 

I highly doubt that BWfan,since last week MP Grimlock was released and he was $59,chances are Sunstorm will also see a similar price.I am gonna call my TRU in the next town over from me to see if they have MP Grimlock and if Hasbro does release Sunstorm sometimes this week I wanna see if TRU will hold both MP's till I get paid friday.

I really hope they do so I can get both Grimmy and Sunny.

 

Have we gotten the TRU SKN number for this guy yet? I know we have one for Grimlock, and I thought I saw one for Prowl (could be wrong though), but don't recall seeing anything for Sunstorm.

Also sort of figured he would be a TRU SDCC release along with Prowl - similar to Soundwave and Acid Storm last year.

 

Surely this one won't be scalper bait like Grimlock... right?

 

If these two are sdcc exclusives, that's a shitty exclusive. But it won't be surprised as hasbro along with the rest of major brands exclusives that have been revealed are subpar this year
