Maybe he meant it's all voyagers that combine into 1 "leader" figure?

As written, it doesn't make much sense either way.

Well, we asians tend to write english in broken form :D ., but no, it's not going to combine into one leader sized figures, because he firmly says its:
    - huge
    - box is metroplex sized

Hmm, this new rumour clashes with the previous one that saw 6 voyagers...

One being bigger certainly gels with their current comic forms.

Is that box set all repaints?

To graps for straws: Maybe the supposed leader was just the torso of Devastator combined from two voyagers?

It's possible that there's one really big team member.

Long Haul is noticeably huge in the IDW books next to the other Constructicons; if he's the lower torso and upper legs he'd need to have a lot of bulk to him.

And the box being Metroplex-sized feels really plausible, especially if they pack him as separate Constructicons. As then you'd need sufficient spacing between all the individual toys for the sake of tray stability.

I don't really care if Loughaul is bigger as long as all six of them are there.

Any chance you could further expand on this part of your post? The Insecticons and Coneheads are box sets we already know about, but Blaster, Perceptor, and Trypticon being listed here too is kinda confusing. Blaster and some of his tapes I could see as a box set, but Perceptor and Trypticon?

Well, there we have it. I can stop my Prowlastator for SDCC theory. Sounds like SDCC is yellow Devy. For which I'll pass.

I'm excited for the thought of a leader Long Haul! Hope to recreate this scene!

I have no idea if it is part of the set, I was just simply asking for curiosity sake. I wouldn't mind seeing a full set of 6 voyagers with the option to change/add prowl to make him prowlster. This way people get it both ways, G1 and IDW.. depending on how you decide to show him off..

I would love to see 5 Voyagers and 1 leader class making up this set.. and now my hopes are up in seeing a reissue of Blaster.. OMG I think I'll need to buy some new pants or wash these.. lol

I think by boxed set it's each release in it's own box. So no Trypticon vs Blaster, only groups on 1 box(insecticons for example).

I have to wonder how pricey Trypticon would be, and what they'd do about his electronics.

After all, Hasbro seems to be shying away from electronics these days, and part of Trypticon's appeal IS the motorized functionality.

Good point. I just assumed that "box set" kinda meant multi-pack. Blaster and his tapes made sense, but Perceptor and Trypticon confused me. I would wonder how much Perceptor will go for, but I can already imagine that it'll be much more than he should.

Trypticon seems like a really random figure to reissue. Can Hasbro even use the mold for him anymore?

Depends, I have a feeling Trypticon is catered to the Chinese market's desire for bigger robot toys. I doubt the motor gimmick would be ditched but I really don't know.

Might get Blaster and Perceptor of their prices are reasonable.

Oh, I'm presuming all these G1 reissues are being catered to China, and that they'll all be very unreasonably priced because they're continued entries in Hasbro and TRU's playbook to siphon loads of money from the Chinese market.

Metroplex had some electronics, and it was a success, so if Hasbro do decide to make a Trypticon (which I really, really want) I doubt they would leave out the electronics.

So I wonder if this means that we'll see a flood of Maketoys Giants and TFC Hercules' on Ebay in February?
