Weird, I couldn't find a thread for this. Just saw it and it was pretty good. Not as good as the 1st, but....

So happy Branch and Poppy are officially together as they aren't in the Netflix cartoon series

Also super happy I could watch this at home as I have been waiting years and it was already delayed once.

I also find it weird that the toys I bought before seeing the movie had character profiles that didn't match the plot for the movie. Meaning the plot was changed, characters changed, but they didn't bother to change the profiles on the toys.

I found the thread for Trolls 2 quite easy to find:

    Trolls (2) World Tour

Either way, I haven't seen the first one, so I have no idea yet.

I just searched "Trolls" and limited the search to the "Movies and Television" forum and checked off the box that asks for titles only.

It was okay! Not as good as the first, and it could have done with lots more Tiny Diamond! But yeah, baring one or two adult annoying plot holes/contrivances, good for kids!

I can't believe he was voiced by Keenan Thompson! That's the Keenan and Kel guy :lol .

Also, did anyone find the country trolls super stereotypical? :lolol

I remember seeing the trailer for the 1st one and thinking it was so stupid, then I had watched it and thought it was colorful and had good music, and the plot wasn't as bad as I thought! Thought baby who was 1 at the time might like it. I let her watch and it and now we've watched it a million times.

I had like 100 trolls as a kid. So, had to give it a try. Now I love this franchise.

These days they consider anime panti shots sexual abuse and child exploitation these days. (Not Kidding, that was their reasoning for having anime statues removed from Amazon)

Look at these horribly impure figures
    Amazon-Anime-Figures-03-05-2020-11.jpg
They obviously needed to be removed from amazon.

Oh for the days when something like this could be sold in stores and people thinking it was funny not a crime against children

People quickly figured out you could get this if improperly transformed.

God only knows what they would think of Tickle me Elmo these days.

Granted the placement of the button on the troll doll could have been thought out a little better, but I don't think they were intentionally trying to teach kids to have people touch them there.
    Kids can make anything inappropriate

And sometimes designers don't think things through

But they aren't thinking along the lines these people are. Which is why they make it through product testing.

Now people are seeing things that aren't there and looking for anything they can cancel. They like to be outraged so they can get like points and more twitter followers.
It's eventually gonna reach a tipping point, but until then, we just have to deal with these people till they cancel themselves.

I agree with you on these toys. If there was a button on the crotch of the doll that makes it giggle and squeal....thats pretty questionable to me lol.
