Yeah I guess I’m being a bit mean spirited. It’s just the proportions are off in odd ways like you said the chest and it’s just jarring. It’s things like this that need a bit more time and effort in. If you’re gonna go bold with design you gotta have faith. If you’re a new company trying to make a name you need to work hard. And if you’re competing with another company on similar products you gotta set yourself apart.
You know what? You may be right. God I feel shit. I need to clam down these days.

nah Digger youre one of the more positive and insightful folks around here. you're allowed to like what you like. i think this guy has potential though. (it looks like both the legs and the lower arms transform completely differently from the traditional Primal transformation)

What gap is being filled with this figure? We've got MP Primal already.

its not always about filling a gap, sometimes its just about doing something different, even if its just slightly different

Yeah, I don't think this is for "I have to have one of every character that was in the show I toy form" collector like the MP line is. This is for fans of Primal the character, or cool robot gorillas, or possibly someone could use it as a pre-earth Primal too

New thrird-party company, great! Let all such companies arrange open-door days online for fans and consumers in terms of their proposal to promote their characters, as part of a qualifying contest and vote!:)

I... don't get it. "Dynamic" is just a subjective buzzword at this point.
They sell well. Can't say I like that everyone keeps doing it (I mean, I like them, but not EVERY figure needs to be Masterpiece-scale) but it is what it is.
Personally, I wish a third-party company would make Devastator.
DX9 is probably still working on T-Beast Primal too, so there's that.

I disagree. I've already made points before about why, but there are a lot of (admittedly more nuanced) design aspects that are the same, mainly in terms of general shapes such as in the thighs torso.
To be fair, they also share a lot of design elements with the regular Primal design too, but it still seems odd to make a very robotic Primal whilst not basing it on an existing design and also trying to appeal to fans.

It'd make more sense if it was going after an existing design. But perhaps it really is just an original design that they're doing, hoping that a unique aesthetic will bring people in.
I guess we'll see. Personally, I'm just not convinced that's what they're going for right now though.

You might not be convinced, but it’s pretty obviously not directly based on any existing primal design as far as I’m aware. You yourself said that it basically has as much in common with official primal as the t beast design

Come on it’s only three companies. It’s not that many. And they give good options.

I'm obliged to show outrage at the lack of love for Armada. Someone please make a fully articulated Optimus that combines with a fully articulated trailer.

    And give me Hot Shot.

This is why I can respect Iron Factory. They have their niche and only do Legends, which is my 2nd favorite scale/size next to Voyagers. IF is unquestionably filling a necessary gap since we probably won't get half the characters they've done as official Legends.

We're overdue for an Armada refresh. Give us proper scale, and a Tidal Wave who's properly big.

I'm not the only one who thinks it is or at least might be based on the T-Beast design. I also said it has more in common than that (one of the big ones being that it's a robotic Primal, which Primal usually isn't, with the T-Beast design being the most prominent robotic-looking Primal).

What you say is obvious, I say is not obvious. God forbid we have opinions here.
FansHobby are doing Optimus. Here's hoping. I bought a Japanese Super Convoy recently so I'm content for now because he looks gorgeous, but I agree it'd be nice to get.

I feel like it might be T-beast inspired but they went their own way with it and I agree this seems very CDish
