To you perhaps. To me the CW Voyager Cyclonus is really, really good. Plus, he has a head that comes out of his stomach in robot mode. No topping that!

I'm pretty sure a brand new mold for the character - or a heavy retool of the Brainstorm mold - would have topped a head in his stomach by a lot. As would original weaponry, a vehicle mode that doesn't look like a jet and a parts-cube glued together...

Anyways, I was just curious. After all, we are getting new versions of Scourge and Galvatron. I feel like an '86 Movie-accurate Cyclonus would be fitting, too.

I find CW Cyclonus to be better than the universe figure. I love the headsculpt on the CW figure, and I love the jet mode. The Universe Figure's jet mode isn't very good.

The jet mode on the Universe mold is complete ass and a clear compromise to make a good robot mode. The jet mode is not sleek, like Cyclonus should be, and it's also gappy as hell in the ass end. I have no idea why people praise the figure.

A new Cyclonus would be tops. The Universe one needs an update and the only CW figure I haven't bought so far is that fat Cyclonus voyager with the ugly head.

I'd prefer a new IDW inspired deluxe Rodimus. They can include Firebolt too for the heck of it.

    G2 Bruticus box-set?

That's not a rumor; that's practically a given at this point, seeing as though we already have box-sets of the G2 Aerialbots and Stunticons. G2 Combaticons will probably happen anyway.

Well, if the toys are going to be aiming for '86 accuracy, chances are Roddy will take more cues from his original version. That's not to say he won't include IDW references, though, right? I'd bet on it, actually.

Pretty much my summation. But I don't find the head to be that terrible...

    I hope so too.

I'd like to get rid of my Classics Rodimus and the BITS version too. I want a Rodimus toy whose chest won't break off.

Just noticed this in TFW's twitter pic. You can see the small headmaster riding some sort of vehicle.

    Rumors for 7/31/2015

    1. We have confirmation that Blaster is Leader Class. We also have word that Leader Class Optimus Prime's head will turn into a Ginrai.
    2. It does not look like Cerebros will have a vehicle alt mode (perhaps a base alternate mode?).
    3. You can expect the other Headmasters to be released in Voyager Class like Brainstorm, and the heads for all the Titan Wars Headmasters will be compatible with Generations Brainstorm. They will all come with a small beast mode partner who becomes a vehicle the head can ride.
    4. For the Deluxes in Titan Wars, expect the 1986 movie robots in Cybertronian alt modes.

Same. I want a Rodimus for my Lost Light crew and I don't want him to be bigger than Cyclonus. As I use the Universe version of Cyclonus, that means Deluxe Rodimus.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that pic. Although, this rumor about the vehicles turning into beasts is a little hard to swallow, although it could be cool, if it's done via price increase, rather than having it be taken from the budget Voyagers already have.

I'm in favor of this as I'm pretty sure Getaway's IDW incarnation is based on the same design.

I find Rodimus' IDW design to be too Gundam-ish for my taste. We need a voyager size to go with the (probably) voyager Galvatron.

I agree. The Classic mold is fine for me on a deluxe level, though. I'm waiting for a good Classic Rodimus Prime.

The rumor is movie accuracy. That's what I want. None of that overdesigned, Gundam Wing tech greeblie and weird panel lining/excessive detail that IDW has fucked up so many great characters with. Gimme a proper Hot Rod.
