Another probable reason for outliers like Sentinal and Alpha Trion amongst the Headmasters (should the rumors be true) is repaints/remolds. Just taking the names of the headmasters on their own and most are left with pretty much one use of a mold except Nightbeat and Siren. But toss these guys in and almost everyone has a match: Galvatron = Hardhead, Sentinal = Chromedome (If Chromedome isn't already a remold of Nightbeat), and AT being a remold of Horribull should the beast kibble rumors be true.

Same sort of thing that got us a CW Cyclonus with a super g1 looking vehicle mode out of Silverbolt.

Of course Sky Lynx is the wrench in that theory, so whatever ;)

Actually i'd see it going down thusly....
    Nightbeat/Siren/Chromedome/Minerva
    Brainstorm/Heavy retool into Mindwipe
    Squeezeplay/Fangry
    Sentinel Prime/Hosehead
    Hardhead/Galvatron

Pretty sure that was sarcasm based on how hefty the rumor mill is this time around.

wtf hasblow you made this toy so that kids could enjoy it? what kind of sick fucks are you?

nah but seriously i imagine him to have a similar design process to Gen Skids so he'll be really clean cut and well designed despite being fairly small.

I'd be down with that. I loved Blurr's animated design and kinda wished it was made in classics form. Thought I am not sure if Hasbro would do that if they're going to be accurate to 1986 Blurr.

Man. A year of Beast Wars would be AMAZING. They could even hit a lot of Pretender homages which would be sweet.

    That would be wonderful.
Not that I could afford it.

    That would be equally wonderful.

While I think it would be GREAT for Beast Wars' fans to get a solid year of figures, Hasbro would have to be able to justify it with a big enough market.

So, could the rumored Sentinel Prime figure actually be a remold of the CW Hot Spot figure? Hot Spot's vehicle mode is the same as Sentinel's.

They could do a BEAST WARS after COMBINER WARS and TITAN WARS... Not just old BW characters, but Predaking, Abominus, Dinobots, Monsterbots, etc. lump them into one line.

I hope he's a mash of Movie and Animated Sentinel Prime.

    I'd love to see that.
now i've already planned out the means of hypothetically making the Seacons, Terrorcons, Predacons, and Monsterbots all from the same base tooling sets.
however, to prevent mold boredom i'd alternate. one wave of Deceptibeast Combiners, then one wave of Autobot/Maximal beast moders. and the maximal/autobot waves would be an even split between so that there is something for everyone.

    example:
wave 1: g1 Predacon Combiner wave
wave 2: Swoop, Fuzor Silverbolt, Tigatron, Snarl
    wave 3: Terrorcon combiner wave
wave 4: Airazor, Terrorsaur, Slag, Pincher

Doubtful. Sentinel's supposed to be a Headmaster as well.

I also remember hearing that we're supposed to be getting an RID Optimus out of the Hot Spot mold - the odds Hasbro would use the same firetruck in similar colors for two guys named Prime is unlikley and honestly I'd really prefer getting a Voyager RID Optimus from the mold than another DOTM Sentinel Clone.
