This is the Predacon version of my other thread, which talked about the Maximal side. Transmetal II in BW Anyway, it was strange for Dinobot to come back as a clone. As a kid, I thought they brought back Dinobot evil again. But it was just a clone. For me, here's what I picture Iguanus on the show: After Blackarachnia, the Preds find new stasis pods. Tarantulus does the scanning as usual and picks out bugs. Megatron gets fed up with it and decides to search for the reptilian kind. That's when Iguanus and Snapper are born. After the quantum surge, Iguanus ends up in the CR chamber (taking Waspinator's place) and finds not only Terrorsaur & Waspinator evolved into Transmetals, but also that all his comrades all dead in the burning lava. Seeing them survived in Transmetal form while some not survived in CRs, makes him jealous. He's tired of feeling powerless. Seeing the Transmetal driver made by Megatron, he's tempted by the power and feels the need to get stronger. After Dinobot II was made, distracting the Maximals, he seized the opportunity to become Transmetal himself. But Cheetor manages to get the sphere while in the middle of the metamorphosis. You know what happens after that in "Feral Scream". Iguanus is wounded by the explosion but somehow starts to evolve to Transmetal II. He returns with his new self to Megatron. Megatron: You're... you're alive! Iguanus: And better than ever... no thanks to you! And the cat!
