Yes, this is the upgrade kit from X2 Toys (not Transfusion). I saw it on their Weibo page and was going to post another picture in this thread, but then realized they were from different companies.

I started a thread for the X2 Toys version X2 Toys MP Ironhide & Ratchet Upgrade Parts but maybe it would work if both were in the same thread?

That TFS head is pretty bad but the doors placement looks the best? Actually SF looks solid too.

I am sure they can. I was all in on the Transfusion version but the Shadow Fisher version may be the ticket. I am down to which version constricts waist rotation the least.

 

Is there an ETA on the transfusion kit, I thought they were the earliest to announce.

 

...it's been bumped at least twice: december -> january -> february...if shadow fisher ends up hitting the market first, though, transfusion are going to lose a lot of preorders...

 

This kit is not at all pointless because there are a LOT of people who are interested. Lots of people don't like the hip panels on MP Ironhide.

I didn't get MP Ironhide or Ratchet because of the hip panels, gappy sides, belly bumper, and huge diaper. I also felt the head could be a bit wider, so if this kit fixes the dumb duck lips and the "new waist" mentioned is indeed a new pelvis part like the one in BlackApple's mod, them I'm 100% sold on this. I can get over the belly bumper if just about everything else is fixed by this kit.

I think I like the X2 kit idea just as much too. Not sure which I like better yet, so the prices, whether that face on the Transfusion head gets fixed, and how the Transfusion waist looks will be the deciding factors for me.
Looks like I may end up getting a MP Ironhide after all.

I got Voodoo Animus for my Ratchet and I love it, but I don't care to give Voodoo anymore of my money. They posted on facebook that preorders for their Ironhide (Animus) were up in August of last year, with the release date being September (the next month). That date has been pushed back a month at the end of every month for about 7 months now, with no updates from Voodoo anywhere and they won't answer messages. For all I know, they went out of business and that figure will never come out. Either way, poor handling of business in my opinion there...

Yep, that looks perfect! If they can get even close to that, and the waist part is a new shorter pelvis diaper, I'm sold.
Still would have to say the price is a good $10- $15 too much though.
