    TransFormMission Wildrider & Breakdown

From the TransForm Mission M-01 (Menasor), we have Breakdown - Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (credit Kickshift) and Wildrider - Ferrari 599XX

Dead End will be a Porsche 918 (credit sifu74). The wheels on the Menasor sketch match exactly to a Porsche 918.

The Robot and combined modes are based on IDW designs. While the cars are updated models from the original manufacturers.

Maybe paint apps will help these to somewhat resemble the source characters. For now this is an easy pass.

Lol that thing is horrific. It's also aimed at a completely different market segment.

Disappointed his trousers are the wrong way around. Dragstrip looks awesome. Need to see more in colour and I'm still hoping Warbo release theirs. No real slavish G1 version yet besides a ropey start from Boldforms.

Holy crap these are super accurate! If they show signs of continuing with IDW combiners in this scale like Prowlstator, "Night and the City" Superion and Monstructor I'll switch over to their company from the Maketoys/Fansproject scale in a heartbeat!

I stand corrected. They are very accurate to the intended source material. Not my cup of tea, but good for others.

Man he looks fantastic. If they were scaled for the deluxe Transformers, they would be an instabuy. But MP scaled Transformers need to be MP styled as well for me.

Couldn't we just say they're "voyager" scale and be done with it? :D

My Generations Springer hangs out with my MP cars. These guys can too, though I doubt they'll be friendly.

Wouldn't bother me a bit if we were able to get everything in a "classics" style at voyager scale.

That said, if someone comes out with actual MP style Stunticons, with G1 accurate alt modes, I'll buy the hell out of them too.

Looks pretty damn sweet. As others have noted, it ain't G1 accurate at all but it is a modern (comics) take on Menasor and the Stunticons, right down to the double barreled forearm guns and rocket launcher shoulder towers on the combined mode. Sized for Masterpiece but with a lot of cues from Generations (especially the overly busy-looking but still neat robot modes); so another "Classterpiece" entry that's in line with Warbotron and Generation Toys' stuff. Alt modes (rubber tires, it seems) are nice next to MP car Bots though. I'm watching this project closely.

Voyager isn't nearly as descriptive since it just denotes size. Classics and Masterpiece have both size and aesthetic characteristics intrinsic to each line, and do have different size points using car bots as a reference point (Classics using Deluxe as the standard while MP uses Voyager as the standard). A lot of 3Ps definitely do try to blur the lines between the two, most likely in an attempt to capitalize (monetarily) on both sides of the collector aisle but probably also because they just want to do their own thing and not be beholden to the stricter standards put forth by TT on what makes a figure "Masterpiece". Good to see some love for the comics source material, in any case.

Wonder how this bad boy looks all combined up against Warbotron Bruticus. Throw in GT Gravity Builder for the Con combiner threeway that was showcased in "Starscream's Brigade".

You know, I never thought of it like that, but yeah, you could just call these voyager Stunticons. Actually, looking at it like that he kind of spans two "scales", the individual bots could scale with MPs, and the combined form will probably look great with CHUGs.

I'm usually a stickler for what "is" and "isn't" Masterpiece, but I've never seriously considered MP combiners (Warbotron looked cool, but I would have displayed him as a solo piece). I mean, Devi probably, because he's the most G1, but most of the other combiners had... lesser designs in G1, personally speaking.

So, actually, I'm kind of interested in this. It probably helps that I love sleek sports cars (I am also a sucker for Jets, all you 3PCs that haven't made Superion). I'll probably as least breakdown and get, well, Breakdown. I don't know that I would display this with MPs or not. Honestly if we get a couple of awesome Superions I might just have a Combiner display.

Loving the scale and super it's accurate to the IDW design. Definitely intrigued although I'm not sure this is the interpretation I want. Can't wait to see Motormaster though, that will most likely be what sells the set or not for me.

Those are some impressive looking prototypes though. The bot mode ms are ok, but those alts are absolutely killer.

    Wow!

I wish they were done up G1 style, but they look very good as is! I like what I'm seeing, save for the combiner feet--those could use some more work.

How much? And when are these due out?
