this is the best I could manage, trying to have them stand as straight as possible. They are all in line. C726F31A-2680-4C91-A12F-F3FE30F66AAF.jpeg

Thanks for your thoughts! Yeah, I'm not a fan of the chrome either so I may not complete my preorder. I got it in while Showz had it for $279 so it was hard to pass up. Although lately Showz has been charging crazy shipping prices so it's probably not going to be worth it in the end... Although I think Havoc looks incredible, he just doesn't scale too well with the other two combiners in my eyes. That in addition to his apparent stability issues makes me worry.

On the other hand, good to know that Assaultus is relatively stable! Looks like he scales pretty well with JB Gravity Builder with the upgrade "slippers" :)  The aesthetics are pretty different but good enough for me. Really appreciate your thoughts and I look forward to completing my combiner soon!

I have the exact same Gravity Builder too ... G2 colors with upgrade knee extensions. The limbs are pretty nice in bot and alt modes with decent transformations (except for 1 or 2), but he's mighty impressive in combined mode. Pity that he really feels stable in a simple A stance only for me.

So far I love Incursus transformations - so simple and intuitive. Fraudo is kind of a pain with all the double joints and annoying slide hinges. Impetus is fine except his damn head always pops off. Still a really good team, and I'm looking forward to MMC's Defensor next year!

The cool thing is that the TFM Stunticons do scale well with other MP cars and MP Prime!

as far as dynamic poses go... I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out. Please keep in mind I don’t have installed the stabilizers.

Yeah gravity builder and tfm havoc my favourite combiners too. Warbotron computron just didn't pop the same unfortch. I like the size -- don't need them to mass shift and tower over other bots. My Cang predating is going to dwarf these guys. I haven't replaced my combaticons bc I love Onslaught's truck mode so much more than any of the legit MP releases, and the other MP limb bots suck apart from their combine modes. It's an imperfect world I guess lol #1stworldproblemsetc

If anyone is looking for a MIB copy of Powertrain... never transformed, only displayed... complete with all parts & accessories... and the original box, sans the paper graphic wrapper... send me a PM. Looking to make room for other bots. Thanks.

Got a notice from ShowZ today that this big boy is ready for payment. I'm hoping there will be some reviews coming out soon so I can see what improvements (if any) were made for stability....

Dead End came with fixes in the original version, and mine stands nice and stable. The new parts did make putting Breakdown and Wildrider on the legs a bit of a workout.

Maybe they'll fix both issues in the new version.

Given the nature of how some of them transform, especially for combine mode, I would be very leary of transforming the chrome set often. That said, I personally think this is a great non-G1 take on the team and I imagine the chrome set is probably nice enough of if one even just wanted to display them individually.

Can someone give me quick feedback on this figure?

Out of all the Menasor choices, the Transformission version looked best to me. I love Don Figueroa's IDW design, and I love that all parts are used in the combined figure. What put me off was the price and that I've never been happy with a Menasor figure.

I have Combiner Wars Menasor, and the limbs are great, but Combiner Wars Motormaster's torso mode was horrible. I have FansProject Menasor, which was great for its time, but it's really dated now. Looking back, I can't BELIEVE FansProject made it SO DIFFICULT to transform a blocky truck into a blocky robot and into a blocky torso. I still can't transform FP Menasor without following along a YouTube video, and it takes me ~30 minutes each time. I'm not a fan of some of the other 3P Menasors, which seem to need parts that are not utilized in the individual car/robot modes (FansToys), or which have Motormaster forming ~80% of Menasor and the limb-bots are more like armor pieces (DX9).

For a comparison point, I'm a huge fan of MMC's Feral Rex and Ocular Max's Assaultus. I'm also a huge fan of the fun engineering of TFC's Hercules, even though it's dated at this point. I have Generation Toy's Op-Ex, J4zz, and the stealth bomber Megatron, and I love all three of these figures.

What's the consensus on Transformission's Menasor? Aesthetically, I already love it. But, engineering-wise, if any of the figures is as difficult as FansProject's Motormaster, then count me out. If, on the other hand, this essentially has the engineering and build quality of one Op Ex with the equivalent of four robots as well made as J4zz, then I'm in!

Not thrilled with the chrome, but I can live with it, and this chrome boxed set is a price I can actually afford.

Gestalt mode is a little wobbly and won't measure up to other "MP" combiners but in individual bot modes they are superb, easily top tier in MP scale.

Individual car and robot modes excellent

The Dead End for this set came with parts that fix some stability issues for the combine mode. I installed them before the first time I ever tried combining them. I can't attest to how he works without them, with them he works just fine and looks great.

It's the only large scale Menasor I will have completed.
The looks are awesome in all modes.
Transformation definitely leans more towards J4zz than Fansproject figures. If the FP figures were bigger I doubt they'd be as fiddly.

Cool! I’ve just ordered one at ShowZ store. I wasn’t willing to spend $500-$600 on a Menasor figure, but at ~$320 for the set, that’s like ~$64 per bot, which is totally reasonable.

Does anyone have Havoc and Jinbao Gravity Builder? I know the latter will be much bigger but just wondering how they'd scale together. JB Gravity Builder is the only other combiner I own at this point.

Oh my god, I'm so embarrassed. That was in response to my question from a couple months ago too. I... I have no excuse. 2020 has been one of those years....
