Can't sure whether it's TF-related news or not, so I post it here.

The title is "元气星魂 (Star Guardian)".

Main robots are called as "星魂战士". Seems like they are sentient mechs, since they are introduced as 'characters' and their 'personality' is described.

Yeah, a lot of them are VERY familiar with us. (coughcoughHotRodcough)

You can watch Opening Title here: SG_OP

Though this is strong homage (or whatever) to Transformers, the quality itself is great.

The way the kids have 'hero' costumes reminds me of Brave of Legend Dagarn. Looks very super robot.

Those look incredible and outstanding. Makes me wish a TF series was animated by the Chinese.

The firetruck looks like something I saw in the Knockoff thread: Robo Revolution

Worth clicking on the link in the post to the action figure checklist site for more pics too...

Made me think of Ganbaruger myself. But yes, very super robot. Those CGIs in the first post have a similar feel to the SRW OG Divine Wars anime - the yellow helicopter's pose looks entirely too much like a pose that Ryusei's R1 struck in that series.

They look better than a lot of the TF: Prime designs.

Gentleman this is one of those times, you buy other non-Tfs because they make better transformers than the ones we get, assumeing there will be toys. or figures or whatver the hell it is, i'll buy it anyway.

That firetruck reminds me of Classics Inferno and Cybertron Optimus. Wonder if that was deliberate.

Some very cool design work going on, too.

Unfortunately that's not quite the case. While the show has some fantastic robot designs, they haven't been translated into the best toys.

Action Figure Checklist Photos, Transformers KnockOff KO, Other, Hyperwiz, Robo Revolution,

They look like good toys, but they aren't engineered nearly as well as the majority of modern Transformers. I would like to get some, though. I'm digging that helicopter.

Assuming they aren't knock-offs of something, I'm impressed.

I agree. I wish we'd get that look more often instead of the steady Movie and Movie-lite aesthetics post-Animated.

BUT HURR DURR DEY LUK LIKE THEIR MADE OF BOXES LOLZ ACCEPT CHANGE!!!1

No you don't. Most Chinese animation I've seen is blatantly cheap, so I'm assuming this series is the exception rather than the norm.

Somehow they still appeal to me more than Beast Hunters. If you get one, let me know how it is.
