If anyone was watching, they just showed a float in the Tournament of Roses Parade on TV that was an American Honda truck that "transformed" into a futuristic hover car/truck. There was some audio being played from speakers that turned out to be Blackout's first transformation scene from the movie. It looked somewhat creative; it had pyro-technics for rockets, hydraulics for movement, and whatever. If it has a robot form, it's a triple changer.:rock  But seeing as it doesn't, it's not technically a Transformer. :(

I get the feeling this belongs on another board, but I thought it was something for people to search for.

Sounds more like a M.A.S.K. vehicle.

Here's a link to a WIP model of that float. It reminds me of the Doc's DeLorean from BTTF.

I think that float was also playing Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine" if I remember correctly.

Just saw it on a replay of the parade. Very cool esp w/ the flames!
I checked uTube and there are a few of the making of the float in several sequential steps but so far none from the parade.

It was pretty neat. Far more M.A.S.K. than Transformers, but still pretty damn impressive.

That is cool, although more M.A.S.K then Transformers.

Because they'd probably screw it up just like everything else.
