Not watching this close to release.

 

Man.

Regardless of the films faults casting Buscemi to voice Starscream was a very good decision. Also Shockwave as he's depicted here seems to fit Japanese G1 Shockwave more than the logical, calculating mad scientist.

 

Buscemi was born to play Starscream. Great casting!

 

It really smarts that SS once was numero uno until Megs gave him a little TLC!

 

Elita-1 really hates bumblebee

I don't think you're being sarcastic, I really didn't like his casting.

 

Yeah uh... I'm not sure what trend this is but I'm kinda tired of seeing it, it's literally a copy-paste of how Peach treated the primary Toad in the Mario movie. I assume it's meant to be funny and come off as playful banter but it mostly just comes off as "why would these two be friends?"

Whereas in the Japanese script for the Mario movie it was a lot more evident that she cared about him and saw him as a friend... Rather than whatever they did in the international version.

Isn't it funny...? He's annoying and she finds him annoying. Because Bumblebee's primary character trait is being annoying.

 

This at the very least looks like fun with actual characters. Optimism rising...

 

That's... A strange comparison to make.
Also, spoiler free, elita is grumpy for a reason, and it's not just bumblebee.

In the beginning the clip after starscream says "incompetent" she says "he's incompetent" while gesturing to Bumblebee.

 

Steve Buscemi is a national treasure.

 

- Buscemi and Bailey sound great (not saying anything about Konopisos-Alvarez since we already heard his Shockwave voice lol)

Maybe Elita-One is having a really bad day or something during the movie also I haven't seen movie yet I'm being spoiled by clips and people not putting on the spoiled tag

 

Just got out of the movie! Really enjoyed it overall definitely recommended

 

This isn't meant to be judgmental in any way, I'm just curious: are you planning to see the movie, or have the trailers not done enough to sway you?

 

Why was the line read on "we dismantle you one bolt and screw at a time and make sure you really feel it" so odd? It's like he almost stuttered on the word "feel," like he just suddenly remembered his line as he was saying it, or there was a line cut out.

Has anyone who's seen the film recall if that was like it in the finale cut, or if this scene was edited for this clip and that's the result?

Agreed. Best casting of the movie.

Soundwave, unfortunately, sounds awful. Not his voice acting, but the lack of vocal processing. Like, come on, can't we just have good vocoding on him like the Bumblebee movie?

 

IGN deserves no exclusives for their 5/10 bowl of shitaki.

They need to send someone to actually watch the movie.
