The transformers x youtooz collab has officially been revealed and are officially on the site. These guys drop on September 20 and are $30 not including shipping each. These are expected to ship on march 15-April 15.

I feel like, in the realm of novelty “cutsie” collectibles, we still haven’t topped the simple elegance that was the Mighty Mugs.

 

I still think these are kind of cute with a bit more appeal than something like Funko pops... but yeah, these aren't gonna appeal to everyone.

$30 for worse Funko Pops is wild

Nendoroids are far and away the best chibi collectibles

 

They absolutely are but they’re like sixty bucks minimum and they never get reissued. I have a couple I want from various series but they will probably never be available again- Things like these aren’t so hard to get.

 

Most nendoroids are in the 30-40 range lately, with a few more being in the 50-60 range, it's honestly crazy how affordable most are.

 

I just realized that if they did a Soundwave in this line, I'd actually get it. Couldn't resist a Soundwave figure with an overly happy face, lol!

 

Have we ever seen a g1ish design of soundwave without a faceplate?

I'm sure they'd keep the faceplate like they did on the Optimus. I'd just love to see those happy little eyes since, y'know, Soundwave is pretty deadpan.
