So who here would trade the flippy doors in exchange for a non-fugly windshield?

I am reminded that July 3rd is the actual anniversary of BTTF, making it seem like somehow ALL of the news sites jumped the gun.

    Time will tell.

I'm sure toyhax will come out with something.

So this is coming via pulse too, right? I don't have to fight bots on Walmart?

Nope. Ectotron was not scaled for CHUG. The concept was apparantly to use a combiner wars voyager mold to represent the actual size of Ecto-1 compared to their MP-10 Ghostbuster Prime repaint in truck mode. Unfortunately size comparisons didnt leak in time to cancel your preorder if you ordered through Pulse. I kept it because Im a Ghostbusters fan and I use it like a Jada diecast model. But it was an impulse buy Im not willing to repeat. That Delorean looks awfully big inside that box. It may be based on Siege Sideswipe mold but Im pretty sure it has been upsized to scale with MP scaled cars.

They're miserable because they don't like Transformers anymore and either haven't realized it yet or just don't want to admit it to themselves.

    In October, yes.

nobody knows. current conjecture is that the numbered box is the only difference but it's completely up in the air. there's been no official word about precisely what will be different from this release and the October one.

YES. Actually, this could be largely accomplished with a reprolabels conversion set for the mass retail mold. Get on it Toyhax!

Hard to say from the press releases, but perhaps only the numbered packaging.
