It looks like the body panels are painted, but for some reason painted in a flat, yellowish-gray?

This could be lighting, I can’t tell by the image but that gray doesn’t look good on the finished product. The metallic plastic on the PR images looked much better. It had a brushed stainless steel look.

 

My order for the Walmart version has been delayed to 11/4. Good to know the exact date it’ll be canceled. Thanks Walmart!

 

I was one of the lucky few to score a Walmart version. Just got emailed that it’s delayed till November 4th. Order page still says October 3rd. Hmmm...

 

As much as I *do* like Action Masters, I not only agree with this (at least vis-a-vis Transformers... since I never really followed Bond, I won't comment there), I was saying so publicly since before G1 ended. The following is a letter (edited by Marvel) that I wrote for the letter's section of the comic (printed in issue #61).

The editing really obscures the fact that I was saying "all the toys today are gimmicked," especially by adding a gimmick I didn't actually write (I didn't mention Powermasters, which were already gone by that time) and adding the words "and the like" that I didn't write....

 

I will admit that the car mode looks a lot better than the robot mode.  I wonder if it hits Walmart\'s shelves, these will shelf warm, especially with the hit price for this deluxe figure.  Not really helping either is Walmart upping their deluxes and that core figure (if they even decide to carry the core line too).

 

Does this mean the people who sold on Ebay will have to cancel the sales and refund?
