    Going to buy the weaponizers and cog but I wonder will alternate ‘clean’ versions appear in special editions eventually. I noticed over the years Takara and some platinum releases had superior repaints. I’d hate to double dip.

    This will probably be the last Transformers toyline I ever buy until a good Transformers series tv show comes out again like Prime or a good live action movie

    Unlikely. They're not street dated, and some online retailers are already selling at least the Voyagers.

    My guess is they're showing up at Target "early" for some future endcap. PotP deluxes did the same last year.

    I really want to get Optimus (and maybe Megatron), but my local stores have been doing a terrible job of stocking stuff recently. I still haven't been able to find Deluxe VW Bumblebee, and he's been out for a couple months.
