I left mine wrapped in a black tshirt in my car for an afternoon. Then I applied some nail polish to the tabs and let them dry.

And that worked very well. It not only tabs, it actually feels like it locks in very securely. Even with the bfg inside.

Ah, so heat as well... Was probably missing that. Could go throw it in the garage with my car I suppose, gets pretty hot in there during the day lol. Guess I'll try that. If that fails, hopefully my wife has some clear nail polish or I've got some floor polish to thicken them. Dunno why I didn't think of that part before, just was so focused on them likely being warped.

Try pushing on the back as you hold it together.

    just got this guy!

i also had the trailer gap, but got lazy and didnt do the heat method.

instead, decided to 3d print a bracket for those two holes ontop of the trailer.

pegs are 5mm in diameter and 37.2mm apart measuring from inside edge to inside edge.

i had a red print but color didnt match so went w orange since he got spshes of orange here and there.

fun figure! like him more that 86 hotrod; no faux hood!

also i got wverything stored in the trailer fine. the matrix burst and a sploosh fx in the too storage, gundpod, sword and biggest fx in the back of the trailer w sword on the side, and the rest fx in the drawer storage

I don't think you need to leave the finger straight right? I just curl all the fingers into the fist and no clearance issues

It seems specifically designed to support the cannon should you wish to attach it to the roof of the trailer in alt mode.

Yeah, upon transforming mine I also realize that leaving the fingers straight isn't always necessary for the transformation to vehicle mode.

Think the front of the trailer base looks way better like this:

    Easy fix for trailer:
Step 1: take out of box.
Step 2: close trailer without anything inside it. (If you hold the trailer closed for 30 seconds it may stay closed. Otherwise, just a rubber band.)
Step 3: let trailer sit closed for 24 hours.

    That's it's.
The reason this works is because the tab/slot design on the trailer is adequate to keep it closed. By packaging the trailer open, it slightly warps the large side panels. Those panels just need to be straightened out.

    Hope this helps.

Every comparison - the elongated truck mode of K-Rodimus still bothers me.

I like that dinky one, it's like a mini Carry.

Random question, how much does Rodimus weigh by himself?

Just got this figure yesterday after stopping by Target. Absolutely beautiful! Love the transformation, love both modes, love the trailer. My trailer definitely has the gap issue so I'll be trying the rubber band and heat fix at some point soon. The only thing I'm not too happy with is some paint issues:
    1. There's a noticeable chip in the orange paint on the spoiler. Not too big of a deal but still one of the first things I noticed when I pulled him out of the box.
    2. The bigger issue is on his chest. I'm not sure how they applied the black outline to the chest flames but the outline is fully missing in some areas. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable just taking a black pen to it since there aren't any grooves to guide you, but I'd like to fix it as it is fairly noticeable.
