It seemed pretty exciting and interesting.

The fandom has been burnt so many times that it can never be happy with anything.

Esp the people complaining about seeing toys and toy features (cog as a gun backpack). You really think Hasbro will make a toon without explicit toyline ties?

it Never gets old listening to Cullen as prime , majorly disappointed they didn’t get him for this when they had him for the last 2 segments of the machinima series

I guess I'm in the minority in thinking this looked awesome. Sure I could not pick it but I would rather be happy. I think this could turn out wonderful and am definitely looking forward to seeing it.

Damn, tose lips make me wish we had David Kaye voicing Megatron.

Overall kinda dissappointed, maybe my expectations were too high but it seems fairly low budget, the voice acting seems pretty amateur, and adhering to the toy models too strictly looks so boring. We already have the idw comics doing basically the same idea with the same designs so was hoping the animation company would come up with new designs

On the subject of the series identity, I'd say it's about... The War for Cybertron? In all seriousness, a series that truly focus's on the war and the affect it has on personal relationships between the Cybertronians. For example, Optimus and Bumblebee clearly have some issues they're working through.
(At least, that's what I'm hoping you meant by the series identity)

On the subject of Elita's design... I'm hoping for another toy release my self.

same, I was also hoping for some complexity from the Cons. Or at least personality. Hopefully the story is good (action scenes were awesome, but the characters and story is everything).

Prime Wars was a low bar to clear, so I will see what this brings to the table.

Megalips. Other than that, this already looks better than the Machinima Trilogy. I'm now a bit excited for this series now that I saw the trailer. Although I wish the voice acting was better. Speaking of, do we know the voce cast yet?

I don't know if we will ever get a high production value transformers animated series again, but I'm hoping Netflix likes money enough to sink some into a decent writing staff for the show. I'm cautiously optimistic. Also overly excited about how closely the animations models follow the toy models. 5mm peg holes and all.

I think it has potential, but I'll have to actually see an episode or two before giving it a final judgment. Main things I'm not super sure about are the voice acting's quality, Megatron's lips, and some of the dialogue. I'm worried it's going to fall into the pit of "taking itself too seriously" all the adult-oriented shows seem to hover around.

I am hopeful that we'll get a Fembot-mold Elita-1 out of this show, though. It looks to me like she's using the Chromia/Nightbird/Novastar/Nautica/Every-goddamn-fembot-in-these-toylines mold in the animation, and I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to make another Generations Select fembot. I wish she had that big and imposing body from her PotP incarnation, but I can't deny that I'd like a regularly-sized Elita 1 in my collection.

    Can’t say I’m impressed.
I really don’t like the voices.

I’ll give this a try, but...

Finally, a Transformers series that looks as joyless as Man of Steel.

You're not alone. Gleefully excited that they used the toy models.

Hasbro straight up sent them CAD models from the toys. It (and the box design for the figures as well) feels like Cybertron 2: Electron Boogaloo.

Minority, majority, etc. I like the trailer, in fact I was expecting much worse than what we got, given the current webisode trend and all, so I'll watch it and hope for the best.

In most instances that would annoy me but this time around I dig the heck out of it. I'm a huge fan of the autobots that came out in siege so I think that being a fan of the line helps.

The shade is fierce. I feel like the cornball dialogue will ballance out the grim-dark motif.
