...which war? The Human/Covenant war, or the Autobot/Decepticon war? Or is this a war where the UNSC fight alongside the Autobots against a Covenant/Decepticon alliance? It'd be kinda hilarious if the Decepticons tried to pass themselves off as Forerunner artifacts to gain the Covenant's favour. Likewise humanity would probably be thrilled with the idea of advanced aliens that don't want them wiped out completely.

To... fight Halo? Like, the ring itself? You'd think the Decepticons would want to use the ring since I assume TFs are immune to its effects. (since I doubt they can be infected by the Flood. They're inorganic and I don't think the Logic Plague would work on them)
