Got mine yesterday from Geekstuff.

Best of the series so far. No hollowness, sturdy AF, cool transformation (especially the torso), convincing in both modes, good articulation and Sergent Slaughter, hell yeah!!

these keep getting better and better. I hope this line never dies. I am so excited for this one, I've bought multiples of all of the previous releases.

They really nailed the tripe T, and I really like the new fold down rear with monitors. Gives the triple T a more realistic purpose as a command control communication vehicle with the Sargent driving.

Kup looks really good, and it looks like he even has ankle tilts.

Thanks for this review. Seriously, can't wait for this. I really want to see the optimus that was rumored. There were rumors of a "titan" size, I would love to see an zoptimus rolling thunder. I'll pay. I don't care.

Most of this line has been hit or miss but when I saw the leaks for him I was locked in as it's the perfect pairing. Super happy to see he turned out good.

iirc Prime will be a MOBAT (but I’d love a Rolling Thunder figure)

 

Where was that announced? Just last week or so there were lots of rumors of a Joe crossover that would be "titan" scale or class. We have not seen anything for optimus yet.

I LOVE the OG MOBAT, but I don't want that to be optimus at all. The only cool thing about an optimus MOBAT would be the massive color change. A green tank to a red blue silver/grey would be neat, and may scale well with megatron, but there are enough joe vehicles that would make more sense for optimus.

The reason it makes sense for him to be a rolling thunder is they could make 1/3 of the front detatch to be the core robot, and the iconic "trailer" would be the back of the rolling thunder with the rockets.

 

Do you have to take the side guns off to transform him? And if so, is there a place other than his hands for them to go?

 

It hasn't been officially announced yet, but I've seen several people mentioning it

I gotta question the usefulness of a tiny tank the size of a VW Beetle that fits only one guy, and does not even protect that guy - even sitting down Sgt. Slaughter looks like he is taller than the tank!!   Of all the GI Joe vehicles, why choose this weird thing as an alt mode?
Btw, is this toy smaller than Soundwave and Megatron? Because he looks to be...

 

As an 80's these figures bring me great joy. This one looks amazing. I really hope the line continues.

 

Kup goes great with the teeny tiny tank. Looks like a nice posey figure too. Hope Optimus is the Rolling Thunder and Rodimus Prime ends up as the ROCC. But that\'s just the dream I expect Optimus MOBAT and a titan Starscream jet of some kind. Nightraven likely. Damn I\'d want Dirge as the Cobra Hurricane and Hooligan as the Tiger Rat. This concept is a blast to play with.

 

Those guys are GONNA die when in bot mode and those missiles launch...

 

They are getting better, and for that I am really glad they are waiting on Optimus Prime- get the line truly great for both modes before releasing the biggest character.

 

Ankle tilts I see,

 

Soundwave is borderline worth getting, this one might be over the border. This legit looks like a good transformer. If they keep up this level of improvement from figure to figure, I’m probably going to end up buying the next two.

I kept wondering why this character, why not somebody who’s actually white, but looking at the actual detail of the robot they really got this vehicle to turn into his actual chest. Color me impressed.

 

I\'m not impressed they managed to uphold basic deluxe standards, it\'s been years it\'s way too late. This is still way below par 

 

Since Im not Joe dude, which other collabs could be interesting?
Thundercats tank (I dont know which transformer, tell me here), those "warrior hawks" or something from Silver hawks (obviously Airazor), some japanese tfs for Samurai pizza cats armored vehicle, and Cheetor & Ravage as Mi-Kun and Kuro-chan.
