Yup. That’s why when I came across one recently for a decent price recently that was missing the stupid bee that I lost when I was a kid, I went on eBay and bought a junker for a few dollars that was missing everything and just transplanted the regular missile launching claw onto it so now he has nothing to break and always looks complete.

 

Have any of the released reissues shown any kind of deterioration or stability issues due to mold age?

 

To the best of my knowledge not really. I’ve had loose ball joint here and there but that’s an easy fix. Biggest one I can think of is Megatron tail gimmick in robot mode. Mine doesn’t work as intended as is the case with many others.

 

Upgrade gap fillers for a "vintage" release ?!

 

that looks really good... I've mostly been impressed with the K beasts and their improved modern sculpting, but I think Vintage looks quite a bit better overall. particularly the deco.

I love reissues. With some stroke of luck, my gray Takara Scorponok wasn't in the flood. Definitely down for this.

Too bad there's no packaging to help us learn more about this new wave of vintage releases. Weird the reviewer would leave out something like that.

 

I love the black & red and couldn't work out why the cartoon changed it!

Might just get this to repair my OG the trigger for the bee no longer wants to play game any more on mine.

 

I have the original--my last childhood transformer and only Beast Wars figure. I never got into the show, so these colors just look blah to me. The red and black of the original just looks wicked. That being said, I'm missing the red missiles so depending on the price, maybe I'll grab this for them!
